Detroit also exposed the NE defense for what it is. Weak. I would not be at all surprised if the Pats are one and done in the playoffs again.

If our offense has 5-7 minute drives producing TD's. Brady and co. wont be scoring that many points.

Plus, couple games last year NE racked up points in games they won in first qtr. Our two games vs. them is case and point.
Statistics lead people to believe you are great sometimes, when you are, but its not where you think it is. Case and point: Two games vs. us. Special teams killed us in those games as well. New England likes to rack up points like 52-10 vs. teams when they have you in stranglehold. But as you can see, those statistics become irrelevant once playoffs come cus teams like Pittsburgh and Jets know how to play this offense. Our offense starts scoring 24+ points on avg. New England will never score that many points on us again.

the Patriots offense scored 29 points on the Steelers defense. As great as Pittsburgh's defense is, it's always struggled against Brady, even in the playoffs. The Patriots offense scored 45 points on the Jets in the monday night game. They also scored 20 against the ravens, and 40+ against the Lions. The Ravens game was back and forth all the way until the end and the Lions game was close up through the 3rd Quarter. And for all the talk of Miami being a top 10 defense, the Patriots' offense scored 20 and 31 points respectively. NE has a top 5 offense and will likely be even more balanced this year.

scoring points in the first quarter and then tapering off was what happened in 2009; 2010 was a different story.

New England (Cheaters) scored most of their points due to the poor special teams effort (is that really called effort what they did those weeks???). He accounted for that, the Pats scored 20 on offense in the first game and 7 of those came on a short field following a blocked punt, 13 came by way of NE's offense as well. I didn't know we got off the plane for the 2nd game.
