Our Defense played well

Yes we gave up 36 points - most of them off short fields due to turnovers and punts from our own end.

The defense looked good - we got pressure on Brady, didn't melt against the run and most impressive was how we kept NE way under their season average on 3rd downs. I don't know what we finished but at one point they were 2-9. They came in averaging over 50%. My point is the D is the D we saw the last couple games and is going to play well the rest of the year. The offense was flat out bad tonight but I see no need to overreact. Short week, road game against - let's face it - the AFC team going to the SB most likely.

Biggest problem I have are the injuries - Wake please don't let it be a rupture, James, Parker. That's worse than the loss of the game.

Defense did play good enough to win before they essentially just gave up/was gassed in the 4th quarter. Tonight was on the offense tonight, mainly Lazor and Tannehill. NE scores points, every one knows that but we should of been able to score on them as well.

True, I thought the defense played well in the first half and kept us in the game.

Even when it was 19-7 we had a chance, but our offense simply couldn't move the football. Very disappointing.

thill just docent make plays consistently, i can't believe he couldn't see the blitz right in his face, he did the same thing against the Jets over and over

Offense didn't show up tonight. You are not going to beat the Patriots by only scoring 7 points and turning the ball over. Defense deserves credit, but with Cam Wake now hurt they are just going to get worse. With an offense you can't count on and an even more weakened defense, the season is basically over.

thats fair. I'm not saying they were an A but I do think they played them better than their prior 6 opponents. We got off the field on 3rd down w regularity.

Yeah seems weird to say it after they give up 35, but I feel the same. Defense played that potent Patriot offense pretty tough, but was on the field too much due to the Dolphin offense sucking.
