Our defense still not getting respect?!?!

wow this really pissed me off when i read it. i play in the yahoo fantasy football legue, and they have an option where they give the player stars based on the matchup thats coming up.... welll they gave marice jones drew 4 stars.. but what really hurts is that they said "Good chance to roll in the running game against weak defense"(?!?!!?!?) i dont know about you guys maybe im just overreacting but that pissed me off to the point where i had to make a thread about it. and im late to class so ill check you guys later.

Did it specifically say Miami's defense? It may not have been updated from last week yet and it may have been still referring to Buffalo's D.
 
Teams can run on Miami? Miami is ranked 6th in the NFL against the run. Throw out the game where Traylor was out and could be better.
 
Jags have a great duo. They will combine for more than 100.

Well, I have to start Fred Taylor because Ronnie is injured...so I kinda hope the JAX running backs have a good day and we still win. JAX has been able to run on pretty much everybody this year.

yeah dude we have a good defense, and yes it was updated... i realize jax has a good running game and hell yes i will take them at 50 yrds a piece but im pissed that they gave drew 4 stars and said that about our defense. COMBINED they might do good but i dont see either of them beating us by themselves. and i have ronnie too, but i never start anybody when they are playing miami.. so i guess im gonna go with dunn and j.lewis if anybodys wondering
 
Its similiar to when the Patriots play us. We own Brady and everyone knows that since he's played against the Dolphins D. Yet, last year on ESPN (can't remember who it was) was breaking down the games briefly and said "Brady always plays well against the Dolphins so look for him to have a big day".

I was pretty angry not because he dissed the defense, but because what he said was far from the truth. Brady never plays well against our D. Those are the types of things you put into other fans heads and then they start saying...well, their defense must not be that great and Brady always plays well against them. Sorry for the rant, this just made me think of that moment last year.
 
Seriously man, you're over-reacting big time. Who cares how Yahoo ranks our defense? All I care about is will we win Sunday? Period! If JAX runs for 800 yards and we still win, I'm happy.

Amen, Chester from Minny ran all over us when we played the Vikings, but he gracously gave our defence a touchdown on one of his fumbles.

with his awesome 3.4 yards per carry?

Last I saw Miami was 3rd in yards per carry.
