Do you guys realize that through 7 games we only have 3 ints?

That is pathetic. There are 12 players with as many or more than our entire defense!!!!!
 
This Defense doesn't cause any turnovers period or stop people when they need to or get big sacks and they fall appart in the 4th quarter

... cause they are on the field all of the first 3 quarters

They did step up for the Green Bay game. They stepped up and dropped 3 interceptions right in there hands.
 
Yea, I mean hopefully we could see Jay Allen fulfill a desperate postion on this team of just being a "playmaker". Safety . . . CB, I don't care where Nick puts him as long as he can make some plays. I think this is what Allen can bring tho, I mean I expect him to blow an assignment or miscommuicate at some point this year . . . however if he can make a play here and there, and show his athleticism, I am pretty sure we can forgive his mistakes . . . this team hasn't had a playmaker in the secondary in a few years . . . back in the Surtain, Madison, MArion, Walker days.
 
The corners are playing ok. Allen and Daniels have 1 int each. (Zach has the 3rd int).

The safeties(Hill and Tillman) have 0 ints, and 3 passes defended combined. Backup-Bell has 6 passes defended.
 
good post i thought i was the only one noticing the dropped ints. also we just can't seem to recover fumbles either, we just never seem to be jonny on the spot. will allen seems to have dropped 3-4 ints on his own. those are just plays that have to be made.
 
I think the interceptions are a little misleading, interceptions can be quite determined by luck and pass rush.

Our DB's have dropped about 4 that I can recall

And the ability to read a qb or receiver and make a play on the ball. That only gets you there....then you gotta catch the ball.
