I heard on the Radio or Read in Bleacher Report (I'm not sure which one) That Coyle said the difference between the first half and second half in regards to defending Gronk is that in the first half, we were bringing in D. Jordon to cover gronk on passing downs and we were shadowing him with a safety as well, But in the second half, NE made an adjustment by Throwing more on Running Downs (1st and 2nd) and we didn't have Jordan in the game then. IF THIS IS TRUE.. THEN ALL THE COACHES NEED TO BE FIRED DAMMIT. Because if this was the case, Why wouldn't you just bring Jordan in on 1st and 2nd downs? Before you say because then they would have run right at him, well I'll take my chances with a backup RB in J. Gray running the ball than having Trusnik runing 40 yards downfield with a HOF TE. Gronk gets chunk plays if left singled covered and it takes less time to PASS the ball down the field Than it does to RUN it.

Secondly, I'm not excusing the players here either, our so called Pro Bowl Caliber Safety has to recognize that he has a backup LB covering Gronk and no matter what Brady does with his EYES you ALWAYS shade towards the mismatch. You just have to trust the other players to win thier battles. ED Reed or any real Pro Bowl Safety knows this and doesn't let those big plays to gronk happen

That's what happens with bad coaches. They get outcoached. Coyle is one of them.

Might have not looked so bad if we could have at least been able to get some pressure on Brady. He basically had a clean pocket all game. Brady was back there eating clam chowder waiting for his receivers to get open.

Still, in-game adjustments have been absent for years in this franchise.

Youre cally Jimmah wilson "pro bowl calibre safety".

As well as very few game changing plays on either side of the ball. The absent run D is painful to watch w=k in and week out.

Didn't you just make a thread putting the blame on the talent level and not the coaches?

not to mention we were using Jordan and another player to cover Gronk so of course there are other mismatches to exploit

out coached plain and simple. it is every single week. they all need to go. this is ridiculous
