Our division - Bills first to...

Well we can't beat Bills' backup QB's either so we're still screwed.

Bills could probably beat us running the wildcat the way the last games have gone. They just destroy us in the trenches and they have gameplanned well against us.

EJ looked god awful in the second half of the Chargers game and looking at the stats it wasn't much better against Houston. I think this is more of a "we're in win now mode and EJ needs more time" than a "EJ is a total bust" move.

I would like to agree with you but he had nothing to do with that win over us. They're line killed us on both sides of the ball

Because we are the buffalo bills superbowl. just remember that. their fans tell you this in their body language. they pull fire alarms for a W vs. phins...thats why I always retort that you cant beat the pats so enjoy.

but yeah, we still had a chance but stupid coaches decided to kick to CJ.

The Jests are horrible. They have no QB, they are 1-3, and have already played 3 home games. Their lone victory was a close win over Oakland. Their next 3 games are at San Diego, home vs Denver, and at New England. They are staring down the barrel of 1-6. The Jests are finished.

The Bills blow and are turning to Kyle Orton because Manuel is garbage. This fact should make us realize how much trouble we could be in. We lost to Manuel and the Bills.

The Pats are currently not playing like the usual Pats. This is a team that could get its act together and win a bunch of games though. Then again, they could be weak this year.

This is why this was our year. We needed a QB. We should have turned to Moore. The division was there for the taking.

I actually find it odd, EJ's qbr rating this season is higher than Orton's career rating and only 2 times in his career did Orton surpass what EJ is doing this season. In fact even in his first two seasons EJ and Orton had close to the same ratings.

As a dolphin fan I am glad they made that move. The only thing this can do is cause EJ to lose whats left of his confidence and allow me to breathe a little bit easier or the next time we play the bills

Last time he played for any length of time he threw 9 TDs and 9 INTs in 2011 and had a rating of 75.7 while with Denver. Previously he did pretty good in 2010 and 2009 but that was it and that was with Denver. Other than that his career has been below average.

EJ was pretty accurate with the long ball and he really started to worry me, bills going with the much older QB is nothing but good news for dolphin fans

Makes me wonder if on Bills boards the fans are screaming "HE NEEDS MORE TIME"!!! "We need to SEE WHAT WE HAVE!!" I wonder if they are upset that the Bills know when to throw out a losing hand. Orton is not even as good as Matt Moore and yet that team knows when their QB is garbage and they are wasting time trying to wish Manuel into a franchise QB.

Whether you're talking about QBR or passer rating, the number doesn't tell the whole story. EJ can't run a full playbook.

Neither can Tannehill. That is why Sherman dumbed it down and everyone screamed about creativity.

A few years ago this very board and the locals down in Davie, were on the Orton bandwagon.

Its over man. Tannehill has bought himself at least 4 more games. Even you wouldn't have the stones to bench him now if you had the decision.

no but WV has a point. I agree that the Bills smell blood w NE not being the same team and are throwing out the develop EJ mentality in order to gun for the division title. It's unlikely a WC emerges from our division so gotta win it outright.

Perhaps billsfaninpeace will show up and give us the inside scoop.

Just read this on nfl.com

"I didn't ask (the front office) for an agreement," Marrone said, via ESPN.com. "I just went in and said this is the direction I'm going."

Marrone wouldn't commit to Orton for the rest of the season. The coach said the decision to start Orton was made to help the team make a long-term decision moving forward.

"(We) can't keep going in direction that we're going," Marrone said.

Orton signed a two-year, $11 million contract with the Bills on Aug. 29. It was starter-level money and a strong indication the Bills weren't married to the idea of Manuel as the season-long starter.

Manuel -- a first-round pick in 2013 -- continued his struggles in a Week 4 loss to the Houston Texans, throwing two interceptions, including a pick-six to J.J. Watt. In four starts, Manuel completed 58 percent of his passes with five touchdowns, three interceptions and a passer rating of 80.3. The Bills are 2-2.

Maybe I'm missing something but NE's starting offense really lacks a lot. They really need Tom Brady to be great, which he's capable of, to be successful.

My opinion.

I wish we had Marrone.

After tonight bills will be leading division and making qb change don't see that often

Marrone does not smell blood. He smells the smoke coming from the fire under his seat.
