This is one of the best drafts yet, idk about all you people saying we have wasted picks but honestly if you think about it we dont need any more picks our cap is dwindling by every free agent we sign, we have no room in my opinion to trade down and obtain more picks because we cant draft on draft day. Bottom line is with the picks we "used" already we have gotten quality players in Daunte, Manny Wright, and Cleo Lemon. I say we stick with giving up what ever we do for Harrington which in my mind is a steal.

1st - WR, NT/DT, OL , LB, S - I like to get Chad greenway still or santonio holmes, or winston justice if not marcus mcniel
2nd - Daunte Culpepper.
3rd- what ever we didnt get in the 1st
4th- LB
5- Manny Wright
6- Cleo Lemon
7th
7th
7th

OUR DRAFT is already 33% done

i think its a success

yea it is looking pretty good, i hope we trade down and make it look even better

agreed...

it would be cool to trade down but its not necessary really, we are kind of almost strapped for money it seems, we cant be that far above the cap not enough, i assume i will be critized but do you even know our exact cap numbers

it hasnt so i didnt include it, im sure it is a 7th

Detroit says it will keep Harrington until June unless it gets a 6th-round pick, so we're probably going to need to talk to Seattle or Pittsburgh about packaging our three 7ths for their late-6th and late-7th picks. (We've got to move up 11 spots to get a 6th because compensatory picks are untradeable.)

I do like greenway, holmes or justice in first round. 2nd round is/was our best pick!

Not a fin fan, but here's who I draft if I'm you.

Trade down, get a 2nd, draft the big enigma...
1. Gabe Watson, DT, Michigan

Gabe's the kind of player who matures late. He'll be a beast next to (and subbing for) Traylor next year, then he and Manny Wright should provide a pretty good twosome down the road.

This is a great year for safeties. Like no year I've seen in 10, good safeties will be availabe at the end of the 2nd round. You NEED to get one. With your newly acquired 2nd, draft...
2. Darnell Bing, S, USC

When I think of your schemeâ€â€and trust me, I know it wellâ€â€there are two receivers within reach that I think of. One is Demetrius Williams, who won't be available here. The other is Auburn's...
3. Devin Aromashodu, WR, Auburn

You desperately need offensive line depth. There's a slug of huge, lunch-pail types who should be available in the 4th round and should be able to provide immediate depth, including Colledge, Whitworth, Trueblood, and Reddick. My favorite is...
4. Zach Strief, OT, Northwestern

Of course, all of this assumes you get your backup QB and your starting linebacker in free agency. You need two safeties, so I'd draft one, then see who gets cut in June for the other. A quality safety always gets cut. None of the centers in this draft appear to fit your scheme, so I'd stick with McKinney and draft Kyle Young next year. By the way, Bryant McKinnie will be a Dolphin in '07. I like your corners a lot more than you do. I honestly think you could stand pat there and be OK.

Not unless we trade down to around 29-32... I don't think Gabe is worth a pick before that.

Even if we do trade down to the 29-32 spot, I think we take Max Jean Giles or Nick Mangold.

We need interior line more than a DT at this point. We have 2 young DT that still need developing.

Now if Ngata or Bunkley is around at 16, we need to jump on one of those guys.
