actually, that is incorrect, according to Dolphins.Miami picks 27th
unless NE or Phil makes it to Super Bowl. In that case, either of those two teams would slide behind Miami. So the Dolphins could pick as high as 25.

The Dolphins are slated to pick 27th in the first round of April's draft but would improve to 26th if the New England Patriots or Philadelphia Eagles make it to the Super Bowl, 25th if both do

How is that possible if 8 teams lost ahead of us? Since that happened, we would be ninth worse because we had the best record, which would mean the 23rd pick.
