Right now we are picking at 15th. We could go to 16th with a win at Buffalo, or as high as 10th if things unfold in our favor.

Atlanta has to win.
The Carolina Panthers win at New Orleans — which has clinched the No. 1 seed and might rest some of its starters — to finish 7-9.

Denver beats the visiting Chargers to finish 7-9.

Cincinnati wins at Pittsburgh — perhaps the most unlikely of these scenarios — to finish 7-9.

Green Bay beats Houston Detroit to finish 7-8-1.

Thoughts...

I always hope the team wins. If Miami picks in the middle of the round, I'm sure some really good defensive tackles will be available and that's a big need. The defensive end group looks good as well. My hope is for Devin White, the ultra athletic linebacker from LSU. Maybe the next DC will go with a 3-4 defense, or White could be Kiko Alonso's eventual replacement. The Dolphins obviously have a lot of needs, but quarterback could trump them all. Will be a very interesting offseason for our team.

There is no point in winning this game at all considering we really aren't getting a young QB reps or building much of anything toward next year. All this win would do would be to give Ross some more ammo to keep status quo and lose draft positioning. I'm purposely going to skip this game because 1.) it means nothing 2.) time better spent with family during the holidays, 3.) don't want my natural rooting interests in conflict... no way would I cheer on Buffalo if I watched the game.

.
Well said.

And... if we are able to trade away that 10th for good value, we would be in a stellar position to load up on ammo for a QB in 2020. It will take some big balls
WHAT IF... KYLER "Lightning in a Bottle" MURRAY is still there at 10? All 5'9" of him? If we were sitting at say, #13, I'd make a fair trade up to snag him. If we're sitting @ 10? You sprint that card up. IMO, the DOLPHINS greatest "sin", has been being B O R I N G ! ! ! GOD, they're painful to watch. I've literally dosed off during a few of these games. Just WOW!?!?! My two nearly 30 year old boys remember the glory days of JAY Freakin FEIDLER for christs sake. AGH, starting to ramble...

All 5-10”?
I would defer to CK on that one.
If he’s comfortable, then I would be willing to take a shot

I don't see us getting to #10.

I just really like the kid, he is electric. I always find a baseball background a plus also. Great athlete! Reminds me of MAYFIELD, just has a real sense for his surroundings, very anti-TANNEHILL in that respect.

I already spoke on VIP and chat about this a couple of days ago and yes, getting to 10 would be nice but I can't see it happening. We'd need all 5 teams in front of us to win on Sunday along with us losing. I've been saying we'll probably draft 13 but we have to lose in order for that to happen. It does make a difference, not only in the first round but every rounds after that too.
Having said that, if they keep Grier and Gase then it won't matter where we draft cause they will most likely pick the wrong player.
