I think we have our future Pro Bowler FS.. CHRIS CLEMONS...yeah yeah i know Reed was an Elite College saftey but...Clemons had over 300 career tackles,,only a handful of DB had that feat, in his Sophmore year he had 102 tackles..now thats pretty damn impressive as a S in a 12 game season...his junior season he had 94 tackles which is also pretty damn impressive..he has that hittig power and tackling ability like Sean Taylor(RIP) and the playmaking ability like Ed ****ing Reed ..

Tell me what yall think, its cool to see my Alumni get drafted,,personally i havent been this excited over a clemson player since well.... :foundout:

Ed Reed is a Hall of Fame caliber player. It might be nice if we let Chris Clemons play a down before we anoint him that, especially since we all should be well aware of how good Ed Reed is. He beat us by himself in January.

if he went the U he would have been a top 10, so what's your point

all kidding aside i hope he does

Look i understand that and all but ive seen this mans work ethic up close and personal..i know he has the physical tools and metal tools to dominate in this leauge..watch guys he will be a dominate player

You saw him play well at the college level. That doesn't mean anything. Also, the fact that you go to Clemson probably makes you like him a little more.

Ok but people on this board think all of our rooks are great,,and im one of them,,and that i go to clemson gives me a little more insight and info the alot of people knowing how he lives and studies practices and opther things shows me things that some peopkle dont see.

He might have had all those tackles because the rest of the defense sucked. That said, I would love for him to be half the player Ed Reed is.

Nope Clemsons D is actually very good..and he was a HUGE!!! part of it

On the point prevention unit, Clemson ranked first in the ACC in pass defense, second in total defense and second in scoring defense. The Tigers finished in the top 25 in the nation in the four major defensive categories, joining Ohio State, LSU, Southern California and West Virginia as the only five schools in the nation who could make that claim. It marked just the fifth time in school history that Clemson was in the top 25 in all four major defensive categories in the same year.

your welcome
On defense, Clemson returns all four starters in the secondary, a unit that allowed just 188.5 passing yards per game, best in the ACC and 13th best in the nation. Clemson was the only ACC team ranked in the top 25 in the nation in pass defense.
