I am tired of hearing all this nonsense about Luck not wanting to come hear due to our franchise and fanbase, if we get Luck great if we miss out thats fine by me to. I have been a dolphins fan for 22 years and will never quit on my team we are a proud franchise and have a wonderful fanbase. The NFL is a spectator sport and if your team is playing good you make money if they aren't you don't and your attendance sales will slouch. Why pay 100 bux a ticket just to watch the garbage we have been putting on the field the last decade?? I prefer to watch my fins play on tv as I have 3 small kids and it works better that way. Some of you homers on here are seeming to judge a fan by what's in his wallet,

This is a forum which gives us the fans the right to speak out on how we feel and it's fine by me. We are going to butt heads from time to time due to different views but in the end we are all dolphins fans.

P.S. Barkley is way oooovvvveeerrrrrraaaaatttttteeeeedddddd...... lol.
 
The dolphin players that have come out saying that 'we are not real fans (because of SFL)' is only there because of angst over the fact that they suck as players and do not have the humility to admit it.

They see themselves as greater that what their record shows, and can not fathom why we don't think they are worthy of being fanatic over.

Us fans do not suck. We are just wise, forward-thinking / anticipating greater things for the future of the team once the losing players, coaches, and gm are cut loose- all deserving so.
 
About 90% of Dolphins fans want Andrew Luck, that means they want to win. I don't see how that means they're bad fans. That means they're smart.

The era of prime JT and Zack Thomas, Patrick Surtain and Madison, prime Ricky. Those were all enjoyable and made the games watchable. Sad thing is best we can come up with, with that type of team is 11-5. Miami needs 12-4, 13-3, 14-2, or better. You won't get that type of record unless you have a top quarterback.

Miami fans would respond and show up to a quarterback more than those guys.
 
People also make it seem like we would rather suck and draft 1st than have a 10-6 team that goes to the playoffs. That is just not true basically we would rather go 0-16 and be set for the future than go 4-12 and be in the same boat next season.

Most of the fans are pretty content with being in the same sinking boat. They're MORE than willing to keep bailing water out of the boat with their excuse buckets.

I must admit that I have been one of the biggest "homers" for this team for 30+ years but after the Chargers loss I threw my "excuse bucket" overboard and leaped off this sinking ship headfirst!

I am so sick of mediocracy and patching holes to get through another average season. I was so happy to see the trade deadline pass and that we didn't make any bonehead moves and give up our second rounder for another AJ Feeley.

The fans do not want to lose... we want to win but ultimately if we have to lose to win then so be it!

For me it's been over 30 years as a fan so what's one more year of sucking to have a little hope for the future?

No one is asking for the players or management to throw games but we just aren't as disappointed if we lose because utimately each loss equals a win!

Personally I'll never root against the Fins but I've come to the conclusion that each loss is a step in the right direction.

So **** you Luck, Dansby et all if you don't get it... the Dolphins have a great fanbase we are just tired of being mediocre year after year after year!

We want to win Superbowls and another 7-9 season ain't gonna do it!

Exactly.

It's not like Dolphin fans have been accustomed to winning anyway. When is the last time we won a stinkin' playoff game again ??
