I think the fact that Culpepper is coming back from his major injury is taking away from what the real problem is in Miami.

Lets look at the big picture. What is the most proven way to win inthe NFL. It's is to establish the run, pass when the opportunities are there, and play great defense.

We cant do any of them. And it all starts with the running game. Take the name Culpepper off of our QB's jersey and tell me another QB that would be doing well in our current state. We haven't established any threat on the ground; which limits our play selections and lets opposing defenses sell out on rushing the passer.

In my opinion, Culpepper isn't playing horrible. I've really only seen him make a few horrible plays. Other than that, he makes his reads and either gets rid of the ball or takes a sack. He hasn't turned the ball over since we played Buffalo.

I believe that the season will be over for us before we can fix our mistakes. Our running game is getting overlooked because of the medias fixation with Culpepper. We really need to be pointing the fingers in the right direction. At our O-line and Ronnie Brown. I'm not so sure that Murlarkey doesn't deserve to be fired either. Our biggest losses this season were Scott Linehan and Ricky Williams. And we made a pathetic effort in replacing them both. We should have known that Mularkey, who almost ended Bledsoes career, would bring the same predictable offense in with him. And, Lee Suggs? I dont even think he should be on an NFL roster. We could have gotten Stephen Davis or something. But Suggs is no Ricky.

I just hope we are in a position to draft alot of good olinemen come next April. I dont want any free agents, and I dont want any trades. I want fresh cheap talent that we can build our team around.

It is very sad to see this situation in Miami. I am embarrassed to wear my Dolphins jerseys. And that has never happened. But after the way we were hyped up and then imploded like the dimple in Tom Brady's face, we can't talk.

To the Miami Dolphins:
You have my support. I pray that things get better before they get worse for you guys.

Ronnie is NOT the problem with the running game. There are a couple of factors here. First of all, the playcalling is horrible. We need to give him the ball more if we want to establish a running game. But even that would be difficult because the run blocking is just not very good right now. Ronnie is doing the best he can with the number of carries he is getting. Also note that he has been doing VERY well catching the ball out of the backfield. I dont know what else you would want him to do at this point.

Yes, I completely agree. Just don't know how he can avoid all criticism among a team of failures. 3.4 per carry isn't amazing by any means. but he is doing good in the catching department.

Ronnie is not the problem, Mularky and the OL are the problem. And Daunte needs to read defenses faster and get rid of the ball much quicker.

If we end up with a high draft pick, (and right now it's looking like we might) I say we trade down and take an OL player with our # 1 and #2 picks, maybe even with our #3 pick. We are desperate for decent OL players that can play, not someone elses throwaway's.
