Our Kick Azz Defense Deserves A Bad Azz Nickname!

Miami can start getting defensive players in FA, and College players in the draft who's name begin with the letter B...This way they can again call themselves The Killer Bs.

Then again I think the Miami staff is more interested in getting better talent, then to grow, then to find the perfect nickname.
 
One last thing about this defense, Flores put together this roster like he really wanted.. We have 2 shutdown Corners (Xavien,Jones) 2 great Nickel CB's (Needham,Inboghene) Great Safety play (Rowe, Mccain, Perry)

This has allowed us to load up the line and overload Offensive Lines, It reminds me of the New England Defenses we have seen over the years they build the secondary first and the Linebackers,Dline used to murder us with most players i couldn't even remember on the Pats..

I give Flores a ton of credit on our defensive performance thus far, We don't have a single big name at LB, DE,DT but our line is looking like the best Line in the NFL because our Secondary is so lockdown we can live with one on ones even against Deandre Hopkins..I actually think those PI's on Howard might be by design. I wouldn't be surprised if Flores instructions to howard and Jones were to not let the WR's get past you NO MATTER WHAT.
 
Defense stepped up when needed however we still let up 31 points. Let’s hold off on nicknames until we figure out how to contain mobile qbs. Still baffled why we never spy’d with baker. He’s fast enough to contain any qb in the league
 
We suck at containing mobile QB's and have for a very long time. I don't know what it will take for them to figure it out,

Yeah, the Miami D isn't the Pittsburgh D.

Fitzpatrick's, "the ball fell in my lap" fumble recovery was a better D play than Miami's strip sack for a TD, according to GameDay Final.
 
How about the No Name Defense or The Miami Pound Machine? What? Those are taken?

Edit: Speaking of The Miami Pound Machine... The last time the Miami D had a nickname, unless I just don't remember one since then, Miami had the best D in the NFL halfway through the season, and ESPN gave them a bunch of airtime. If I remember correctly, they turned into complete dog **** the rest of the season. Because it holds immense relevance, I vote for no nickname.

That strip sack was one of the best defensive plays I’ve seen since we had Jason Taylor. Just wish we could of repeated it a few times more. Oh well Murray is special but we really need coaches to come up with a game plan for mobile qbs. If we can figure out that we can make a serious run this year. Even with their play we could of won all 3 of our loses I think with Tua but if we can gameplan something that works for mobile qbs, we might be in the run for best team in the afc. Mahomes is a different animal if that time comes though.
