If you look at our official depth chart on MiamiDolphins.com, they added Wes Welker as our second kicker. I know he was our kicker for one game a couple years ago and successfully kicked a PAT, field goal, and I believe when he kicked a kickoff he tackled the KR in that game but im getting off track. I was wondering...
why is he listed as our backup kicker?
is this hinting he is going to kick this sunday?
if olindo doesn't play well is wes going to replace him?
will wes be our perminent kicker?
will they alternate?
will olindo kick the kickoffs and wes kick the field goals?
will wes be on our team next team?
will olindo be on our team next year?

I dont know man.....I have no idea what that means for their individual futures.....But we all shall see

but he has never been listed as our backup kicker

ive always seen him listed as our backup kicker, nothing new to me....i can tell you it doesnt mean anything its just incase of an emergency. the kicking game will be as normal

Wes does everything but drive the team bus.

hey, did anyone notice he threw a great pass to travis minor on the last play of the jets game (it was a lateral on a return but it was over-handed) he could be our KR, PR, starting WR, K, and backup quarterback...if this cleo doesnt play well i wouldnt be suprised if Wes took a couple snaps

You may be joking but it would NOT surprise me!!!

I don't remember seeing him play as kicker is he any good?

he made every kick he attempted in that game I believe. that is something mare has a hard time doin.

C'mon now

Let's e fair to Mare. As much as I like Wes (belive me guys, i LOVE that guy) I think it would be a safe bet that he wouldnt hit a 40+ yarder. I belive this offseason Mare will work very hard, because i belive he also realizes that his job is in jeopardy.

Welker is a better kicker than Mare. That is not saying much though because I am convinced that Juan Huron could become a better kicker than Mare.

Seriously, you're asking this? You've GOT to be kidding that you think he'll kick in any significant scenario... PLEASE tell me you're kidding that you actually think Wes has any chance of kicking anything beyond Mare being seriously injured!
