Our Last Meaningful Win

Every win is meaningful. But I think the last time we had a win over a good team late in the season where we were still contenders was the San Diego win in '05.

Huge win over a team everyone thought was going to be a force in the playoffs. We still had a shot to get in if we won out. I remember thinking about how bright the future of this team was looking after that win.

What comes to my mind is the game against the Raiders in 2002. I think coming into it they were 9-4 and we were 8-5. We won, and at that time, at 9-5 we held the #1 seed. We all know what happened the following two weeks though.

Thats the 1st game that popped into my head..that team dominated the AFC champions to be...MVP gannon looked like a first year rookie..

I still think tat was the best Dolphns team the past 10 years, I now we didnt make the playoffs but Ricky had 1800 yds JT had 17 sacks that was Fiedler's only decent year the defense was dominant.....BUT there was a man named Ray Lucas who totally ruined that seasn by almost single handidly lost 3 games for the Dolphins!! man I still hate that guy.
 
lol.. we went from number 1 seed to out of the playoffs in just 2 weeks.. crazy.
 
that was actually when a quarterback found his way to chambers. amazing how we say chambers sucked whenever with a journeyman quarterback he went to his first pro bowl
 
We shut out the Patriots 21-0 in December, 2006....I would call that our last meaningful win, even though we were out of the playoffs.
 
for me it was the 1989 miami an dallas game i was 6 and my dad loved the cowboys i routed for miami that day ad after they upset dallas i was a fins fan for life my dad still has that game on tape he made me spend the nigh at my grams cause i told him i was a dolphins fan lol
 
i think it was the bears game last season when we were 1-6 or something and we beat the undefeated bears and no one gave us a chance i think that was our last meaningful game.
