Starting lineup possibly?

SS - Hill
FS - Bell
CB - Allen
CB - Poole/Daniels
OLB - Arrington and Crowder
MLB - Thomas
LE - Taylor
DT - Traylor
DT - Wright
RE - Carter

Offense

WR - Chambers
WR - Booker
LT - Shelton
LG - James
C - the man I hate Mckinney
RG - Hadnot
RT - Carey
TE - McMichael
QB - Culpepper
FB - Barnes
HB - Brown

Sounds good.... thats a pretty good lineup but where would our Rookies fit in depending on who we draft?

they say DB is good to go and very young so i dono about that anymore unless its a Safety and maybe lawson to groom into being the RE once Carter leaves as it can be his last year next year or the year after taht who knows but then roth is there too so maybe thats our duo once the 2 leave? I dont know. we get LaVar i dont see a need for OLB unless Lawson does the hybrid ala JT and maybe we go MLB to groom for ZT as CC is said to be more comfy at OLB then MLB.

WR? I think it can end up being our pick. RT? possibly as well. ANy ideas guys?

Mine is the same, with the exception and addition of a few things:

-We draft Manny Lawson, because I don't think we'll land Arrington.
-3-4 Depth Chart

LE - Kevin Carter
NT - Keith "Truck" Traylor
RE - Vonnie Holliday
OLB - Manny Lawson
ILB - Zach Thomas
ILB - Channing Crowder
OLB - Jason Taylor

Tell me that's not f'n sweet.

As for our draft picks... I think we'll have an all battle at CB, with Travis Daniels being the only guaranteed starter.

we may just go WR in rd 1 from teh looks of thigns possibly

Vonnie Holliday will start at DT... IMO Traylor and Manny rotate.

With what we have now, I agree with you on offense. However, this is how I see the Defense.

SS - Tillman
FS - Bell
CB - Allen
CB - Daniels
OLB - Arrington(hopefully) and Crowder
MLB - Thomas
LE - Taylor
DT - Traylor
DT - Holliday
RE - Carter

Where do you see Hill? IMO, Hill will be lining up at safety this season. Otherwise, we have:

Allen
Daniels
Poole
Hill
Goodman
Mitchell
Jackson

... all at CB. Too much. 1 will be a safety- 90% chance it's Hill.

Except, of course, that Taylor will be a OE and Carter will be an LE.

I still think we might take a OLB or a tweener... once Zach retires... Crowder will move to MLB... and we will need an OLB. Look for a Greenway/Lawson type pick... if we dont address our secondary...

That line is still looking really shakey. Not a good thing with a gimpy QB who turns it over a lot when under pressure. I think another piece will be added, either with the first rounder or through FA. It would be nice if Saban found a way to trade down, get a 2nd rounder back and pick up a guy like Mangold, McNeill, or Winston. I would feel far more comfortable with a good C or T added to that mix.

Seth McKinney at Center bothers me too. I think he will be a casualty cap in 2007....maybe Houck is just keeping him around as filler until we can find something better.

Yeah we're really going to line up at the receiver position to ensure that Culpepper sees success. Look what he did with Randy Moss. Now he'll have Chambers, Booker, McMichael, and hopefully (*fingers crossed*) Santonio Holmes.

i think lawson will be our guy as well but jackson is a goood possibility as well but lawson is a need since he will be like a JT possibly and he donest have too many years left in hijm. Not sure if CC will be MLB as said he is more comfortable at OLB. Hill WILL be our SS as he is like a LB on the field.

i know that it is a long shot but i think that wade smith is going to move to center and beat out Mckenney
