Weak-side linebacker has more coverage and pass-rushing responsibilities than strong-side, whose focus is on stopping the run while aligned opposite to where the offense puts its tight end.

Weak-side linebacker does not have more coverage responsibilites but they do have more pass-rushing ability. The strong side linebacker has more coverage responsibilities & is more focused on stopping the run, but he is lined up on the same side as the tight end, hence making it the strong side of the offense. Football 101. I expect more out of Marvez.
