You would rather have Murtha get run over by Mario Williams and get to the QB, who then in return can't get the ball to the future hall of famer Randle?

In Philbin's philosophy, you dont need wide receivers. Or pass rushers. Or safeties. Well, even football players really, just put fans on the field and well win every game.

Thats how good his philosophy is!!!!!
 
Remember the bills jets and pats all got alot better at pass rushing. As much as I wanted a WR this is the right pick.
 
We all seen what happens when you have a fill in RT. Far to much pressure on our qb. Now, position solved. Good pick- He was my second option to Hill but the draft is deeep in WR
 
You think he'll play the tackle spot? How good does guard translate into tackle? I will be happy with him at either guard or tackle.

My thoughts exactly!

I am looking forward to seeing Pouncey pull more. He was a beast at Florida when he was pulling. There was one Gator game that seemed like I saw him pull +10 times. Philbin is going to have fun with him.

Did he? I dont know anything about him (I do love the pick) but the highlights looked like he was playing LG.

Eh.. I just watched the highlight on my laptop and he is at LT.. I saw the pick at a bar with a crappy TV and from that it looked like LG.

U know your right.... would rather our QB stand back there for 8 seconds untouched and throw the ball to ummmm Hartline the HOF. because he has done so much to help this team score point and win games. And it doesnt matter cuz our QB blows either way. Give our QB weapons.
And mutha played ok for long at LT during the preseason before murtha got hurt. Would have probably been our starting RT if he didnt get hurt.

As opposed to having our QB stand back there for 3 seconds and get hammered to the ground, injured??? Hmmm.. lol.. smart, I guess
