I know Ireland said that Smith will play CB but he can be utilized at FS if needed. I think they are done with the secondary for now instead focusing on the front 7, WR and possibly one more OL pick the rest of the way out.

not really the Dlines job in the 3-4. It's the OLBs. Porter does it well. Matt Roth...didn't. Hopefully Cameron wake helps out.

Jeff Ireland made it very clear that Smith is a CB. Its amazing how one position can be upgraded (potentially, of course, at least on paper) so significantly in a matter of hours.

He ran a 4.49 at his pro day. He's fast enough to play CB.
