Our Next Shutdown Corner is on the roster

the guy sounds promising,looks like he got good cover skills!hope the best for this young man.
 
A little optimism about some of our depth players does not bother me at all.. I don't see what the problem is. Shoot I haven't heard of this dude before but who knows he could be the next wes welker on defense! Ha it's alright to speculate and make predictions, after all this is the offseason.. I like the optimism, hopefully he pans out and helps our secondary!
 
He's another one of the All Pro Youtube Team. Wait and see what he does when the pads go on before you annoint him a Hall of Famer.
 
We have a very bright future with Hughes, Carroll, Smith, Davis, and Wilson all being the "Next Shutdown Corner".
 
One can still hope...... no reason to cut him off at the knees.... at least he is keeping up with whats going on in Miami.
 
i think some ppl took this thread a little too seriously and others got the idea that I had. He shows promise and he seems to be very smart. Sometimes you don't have to be the most skilled, you just need the dedication, wit and desire. I think this kid has it.
 
too funny that guy in the back dropping that pass. But yeah that video didnt show me much. He had a great pro day, looks strong, but really it looked like he was beat on that route.
 
Lets wait until at least the regular season before we start categorizing guys as "shut down" corners, etc. Half of us already have jonathin martin as a franchise RT and lamar miller as the next reggie bush. there is a reason rosenhaus uses the word potential so often. until you see it potential is all they have which doesn't get you very far.
 
Martin looks very cerebral, hope he has the drive and the fortitude to push for a starting job. I have a feeling though that he will get abused by a stud DE a time or two before he "gets it".

I think Lamar is going to be a beast if used properly.
