CB Shirdonya Mitchell (Frankfurt Galaxy) - 5 Tackles (1 Assisted), 1 Interception, 2 Pass Deflections

DT Steve Fifita (Frankfurt Galaxy) - 4 Tackles, 1 Fumble Recovery

WR P.K. Sam (Rhein Fire) - 2 Receptions, team high 53 yards

Frankfurt Galaxy defeats the Rhein Fire 23 - 10

DT Kevin Vickerson (Cologne Centurions) - 2 Tackles, 1 Sack.

Cologne Centurions defeats the Amsterdam Admirals 30 - 7.

I'm liking what both Sam and Mitchell are doing.
can see Mitchell as the 5th CB at this point, but Sam's going up against Campbell and Hakim for his spot.

Vickerson I think makes the roster due to lack of quality depth after Vonnie, Matt and Rodrique... good to see he had a good day.
 
I just got back from the game. Was a good game and alot of party. I like to see Mitchel, I think he is good. P.K. Sam is in the wrong team over here. He is a good receiver but have to play under a bad QB.

Such a bad QB and PK still putting up those kind of numbers?

I must say, PK's making a case to be our 5th.
 
The O# of Rhein is not good, they only make points if the otherteam does mistakes. You shoot read the forum of Rhein Fire, the fans want to give there season tickets back. If we (Frankfurt Galaxy) had Sam, I know we will keep our world bowl.
Hope I see the guys again in Miami this year plus a big win against New England, because that´s the game I come over.

It seems that P.K. Sam and Shirdonya Mitchell have a shot. I think with a good preseason, Sam could very realistically beat out Az Hakim and Kelly Campbell for the fifth WR spot. And God knows we need help at corner, so if Mitchell shows anything in camp, it could really help the team.
 
if PK sam actually had a good quarterback/offense to back him up he would be lighting it up, rhein's quarterback is horrible for nfl europe

I doubt it very much. In my opinion the best players that have a chance to make an impact during the regular season are going to come from the defensive side of the ball.
 
The awesome thing is that Cam is going to get the best guys on the team period..he has a tremendous eye for talent..especially on the offensive side of the ball! PK Sam will be on the team..even if it is on the practice squad!!

REMEMBER..Yerimiah Bell was on the practice squad for awhile!!..that excites me, I hope he comes out and earns a long term contract!! Yerimiah Bell that is!! PK is a long shot right now for playing time..butt promising!
 
Shirdonya was so completely lost here during preseason. This either shows that he's really developing or NFL Europa is a terrible indicator for real NFL success.

Why? You don't think Sam has a chance to beat out a receiver with a questionable work ethic who basically hasn't played football in 2 years (Campbell) and another receiver whose limited skills appear to be declining demonstratively (Az-Hakim)?
