This is the fourth time I have had to post this thread because Finheaven automatically signing me out and everything I typed was lost so it was much better than it is now...(thanks boys :-))
In the beginning of the off-season I didn’t think our team was in a rebuilding mode, but in looking at the list of players released/traded I think it is safe to say that it isn’t our defense, but our offense that is now rebuilding. We have either released or traded 14 offensive guys to only 4 defensive guys and we should all welcome the change. I love the fact that we are now getting rid of underachieving guys and getting value for the guys who still have it while still not overpaying for players in terms of giving up draft picks. For once the offensive side of the ball is getting the majority of the work and it is long over due. Because of this offensive overhaul and the fact that our new head coach is all about offense we should all expect that the majority of the draft will be on the offensive side of the ball, while still infusing youth at some areas of the defense - but the priority should be offense. Its great to see that our offense will soon be what we all want it to be and will be replaced with better talented guys who can execute far better than the guys who have been released (Otherwise Cam would have kept the offense mostly intact). I expect our offense to end 2007 ranked between 10-15 and in 2008 5-10 and even better in post-years..Look to be competitive in 2007. (I don’t want to hear we can’t because we turned it around in 2006 with less talent and crappier coaching than we have now and team worse than us have done so as well)(I may have left some names off the list but you get my drift-So let the bashing begin)
