Guys i have been a phin fan for close to 25 years now and this is the lowest this franchise has fallen, 6-10 and bama going after a very good head coach who can turn this around, JT wanting to hang them up, is it possible that a team that never knew what a losing season was, has a great stadium, nice practice facilities, great weather, and a history of success, now is with the dregs of the NFL with franchises like the lions, browns and cards, we are at a crossroads now, either this is when it turns positive and it could very fast in the NFL or we may be witnessing a decade of losing, i need some positives guys, some help on new years eve
 
I hate to say it, but this team is on the verge of losing our identity...moreso.

4-12 and what Dave Wannstedt did to this Franchise was ALOT worse...
I for 1...want Nick Saban to stay....what great drafts picks did Dave leave him???.....Nuthin....this will take more then the 2 yrs he has had so far...

The only one I want to go is Mularkey...ASAP!
 
would have been nice to have lemon play five or six games, just knowing if we have a QB would be nice

I totally agree with you unfortunatly it seems alot of people want Saban gone and they were probably the same people who mthought ronnie was a bust. I think I will post that.:dolphins:

Ronnies good, he is just underutilized.
 
The sky is NOT falling guys.

No one wants to give Saban time because they all thought he would be some kind of miracle worker, and he looked a lot like one at te end of last year, but until he has a few years to build a team with the players that he drafts and signs, we shouldn't jump to conclusions that the franchise is headed for the trash heap.

And all the coaching genius in the world won't do much good when your starting quarterback or running back go down with injury.

REALLY!?!?!...the man came here, knowning that the team needed an massive infusion of youth and what did he do?...he chose to make Dolfans et al, buy the lie that the team could 'win now'...BIG LIE...unintentional?, maybe...but he lied to himself...he lied to himself (and all of us) again when he chose Dante over Drew, and wanted us all to believe that was the better choice...OOPS!...now what?, you all want to be lied to again?...you're like the dillusional wife who wants to believe that her cheatin husband won't poke the first skirt he see's after she confronts him for the 2nd time...YEAH RIGHT...if you're believing that this team is only 1 lineman or 1 receiver or 1 corner or 1 linebacker or 1 d-lineman away from contending...well then, you've just shown yourself the door to waiting 2-3 more seasons for that to happen...get it in yur craw...savor it...swallow hard...it's medicine; good/bad...but medicine we're gonna haveta take...

You're like the annoying poster who keeps bringing up the obvious that Saban should have drafted Brees after seeing what Brees has done this season.

You and I are similar in age. I became addicted to this team in 1971 when I was 10 yrs old and I lived and died with this team until DW took over. Still a big fan, but some passion has been lost.
They are just another team now. Boy do I miss the Shula years.
