on a scale of 1-10:

Bess - 4(thought he was on his way to being a Welker, now he makes Ginn look like Chris Carter)

Camarillo - 5(6 with healthy wheels)

Fasano - 5

Ginn - 4

Hartline - 6(the best of the worst)

Haynos - 5(but hopefully on the rise)

Turner - tbd

awesome post! love that i read this.. the dolphins receivers are below average. we had a 4th round rookie starting for us today

No matter how bad our receivers may be there is absolutely no reason that Lousaka Polite should be split out wide for us ever.

The receivers can't throw themselves the ball. Henne could make a pro bowl team of receivers look like rookies.

after today we might as well upset the apple cart and start the WR competition all over again

Ginn 7 He loses points for poor concentration, drops, routes, softness, still stretches field, catches sometimes, gets open, great rusher/returner.

Hartline 7 - I think he's got the skill set of a 5, but he's been catching everything and doing his part, could develop into 8 or 9.

Bess 5 This guy has really become average this year, not a good returner (never been great), dropping alot, stupid fumbles, not showing same drive/motavation as last year. still gets open, very shifty, normally surehanded.

Camarillo 6 I think a solid 6, but he's not dynamic or anything, just makes the catches and gets a few yards before someone catches him. doing okay off surgery though, has he plateaud?

Turner 3 - Has not displayed much, i think he will use his hieght and hands to be decent once on field. But waste of snaps IMO, he doesn't get open often, and Henne takes sacks.

Fasano 6 - Great blocker, one of the Dallas kids, reliable with Pennington, however he can't catch Henne's and he fumbles. having a Bessesque non motated year.

Haynos 7 - Huge body, blocking really well, good hands, I don't think he'll become our NO.1 TE, but if miami doesnt resign Fasano, we should be okay if Haynos remains the no. 2

Can we get someone i can overate and call a 10 please!

Sign Malcolm Floyd or Vincent jackson plzzzz

Pretty much....there aren't many teams in the NFL that have holes at the #1 WR position AND the #2 WR position....

Anytime the coach says everyone is going to start fresh and earn playing time in practice.....you have problems...

Nobody is capable of stepping up and really flat out EARNING the jobs....

When you have 5 WR's who are interchangeable it doesn't mean you have 5 good WR's.....it means you can pick names out of a hat and be no worse off because none of them are better than average....that's a problem...

Miami may finally have a legitimate quarterback to lead this team in the future.....he's going to need some weapons.....

So go ****ing get him some and quit screwing around with these grocery getters and trying to ask role players at best to step up and be the guy that this team can count on to show up week in and week out...

it is an embarrassing group.
hartline, bess, Camarilo are all number 3 and 4 WRs in the NFl starting for us. Ginn is a number 2-3 guy but not really a 2 at all to be honest.

We go and draft slow possession route runners with no CEILING to become anything past a number 4 or 3 WR.

every teams stat tracker shows at least 4 different receivers with 4-5 catches, ours always shows 4 WR with 1 catch for 6 yards.

I dunno, I don't think Henne had enough protection to give them a chance. I mean, Hartline clearly had his man beat on that deep throw early in the game. Henne's just not inclined to make those dangerous throws like Sanchez and Brees. We'll see how you feel at the end of the season.

rome wasn't built in a day

I still have hope for Hartline, Haynos and Turner to improve to 7/8's

I would be suprised if we didn't draft a WR and a TE next year

I don't count my FA chickens cuz they rarely hatch, after the tags are made(remember no cap in '2010 means more tags for each team) there are too many teams chasing too few prize FA's

Henne has had 3 starts, how many nfl games have Ginn, Bess, Camarillo and Fasano played in?

you're right we have 9 more games to shake everything out

the Jets have considerable defensive talent don't forget. I would take Revis, Harris, Rhodes, Scott on my team anyday.

I figured that Hartline disappeared because Revis was on him alot.
