Sorry, probably should have changed the title...

3-5 since 2000.

For whatever reason, historically we do not fair well after a bye week. Seeing how well we fair overall, since 2007, trying to count back each game after a BYE to get us to .500, we have go all the way to 1991 when we had a .500 game following a BYE week.

Lets hope Sparano has this team forgetting about NE and looking ahead to SD.

Ironically that was about the last time we had a coach that could outthink the other sideline. Last week we saw what our coaching staff could do in a battle of wits. Give them a extra week and I like our chances....at least to perform well.
The chargers are a better team than we are, no doubt about it. But we will play well IMO

Exactly, shows how good of a coach Shula was as well since I had to count bacl all the way to his tenure.

You know I didn't click on this post for a while.
Because I knew we had a bad or certainly not good record after the bye.
Every year when I talk to my friends or bothers about football or a certain team.
I have always brought up the "well historically, the (insert team name here) lose if
they lost on Monday Night Football the week before or some other crap.

Ya know, I ain't doing it anymore, this isn't last years team! This isn't Jimmy Johnsons
team! This isn't the team that couldn't play in the cold!
This is the New Beginning baby! And nothing from our past failures will slightly cross my mind.

In closing WE WIN THIS SUNDAY!

He was a dick for leaving the way he did, but Saban could out think anyone. (Bamas #2...already)

He could out think anyone in "college", the NFL, eh, not so much.

i think it had more to do with him destroying himself with work then it did his inability to coach.

He out coached Mike Shanahan in his first game by a mile. I think the relentlessness of the NFL is what took Saban down. He could out coach anyone for one game. But having to do it for 16 straight weeks is something else entirely.
