Rowe is out so that leaves Jevon Holland paired up with either Verone McKinley III or Clayton Fejedelem. We might elevate a safety, perhaps Jamal Perry.

We have 5 healthy CBs. They have been practicing reps at safety as well.

Eric Fisher may be our LT if Armstead falters/gets further injured.

If Wilson (hip) does not play on Saturday, Gaskin would get carries behind Mostert.

Above info garnered from the Herald.

What happened to Rowe? He made some nice sticks in the Charger game

We're not playing well right now and we're a wounded team. This is where our HC and his staff could become legends or just another coaching staff that comes and go.....I really like McDaniel but we're going to need him to pretty much out coach the one guy in this game where the weather is going to be bad.

Whenever Feje is on the field on D, he just looks so out of place. I don’t know what it is - like he’s not supposed to be out there or something
agreed

Reminds me of another white safety we add a while back, around the gerbil Wilson days. Man! Remember that? Dude was supposed to be a good signing after a decent start to his career and was TERRIBLE

Feje has made a niche out of punt protection and being the second to last man in punt coverage. He's NEVER been a true safety, not even rotational, dating to his NE days. He did play safety in college. He's slow, stiff and very robotic. He knows the plays but he bee-lines to his marks in a straight line to make up for his lack of speed and is a big tell in the secondary.
