Anyone looked at our schedule lately?

I don't see many teams we can beat unless we start playing a LOT better. We may end up with another top 5 first round draft pick after this season.

We can win any of those games, we will only get better as the season progresses

Any given Sunday man...

you gotta believe

Totally agree.

The key this year will be winning our home games....

You play strong at home, you have a great chance to make the playoffs. Not that I expect us to get that far, but a winning season shouldn't be considered out of reach....

PHINZ RULE!!!

i think our home schedule is tough, and thats the key though, you need to play well at home and steal a few on the road to make the playoffs... but our home games are kinda scary

Denver - WON
Carolina
KC
Atl
NE
Buff
Jets
Tenn

lol@us thinking the same crap at the same time....

I agree, we have one of the hardest schedules in the NFL, but you play to win, and these guys do just that. Any game could go either way, its just whether or not we show up and make less mistakes and capitalize on theirs. Let's be reasonable, we are not going to win everygame, but that doesnt mean that we can't compete at a high level and have a winning season. Going from 4-12 to .500 is a great improvement especially with a first year head coach. Worse case scenario, we don't get to .500 but spoil it for some other teams and take a nice 1st round pick ..

We will definately be a spoiler team this year. As far has having the hardest schedule: It will be a true test of this team. If we pull 8-8 this year, I'll be satisfied that the team has the foundation for greatness. Our D can hold it's own against NFL team out there, when the O starts firing on all cylinders...Boom!

Don't look to far ahead, as long as you guys continue to improve you'll beat some teams you probably shouldn't. Cutting down on the dum peanlties would be a nice start for you guys, it will take time but eventually you should be a disciplined football team under Saban.

Whatever, I think we can win any and every game. As the pats have shown, it's not always about talent that wins games. We will do well this year I suspect, under Saban.

Actually I welcome a tough schedule. The games we do win we will earn and nobody can take anything away from us. The games we lose will be against good teams so there will be nothing to be ashamed of. Plus, it hardens the team for next year.

Bring it on.

Looking at our schedule I think we couuld go 10-6 at best. Wins over Carolina, Buffalo(x2), Tampa, New Orleans, Cleveland, Oakland, San Diego, and Tennessee.

But I'm optimistic. :D

I'd rather have a ridiculous schedule like this one during a rebuilding year, which think what you want, this is a rebuilding year, than during a year we have a legitimate shot at the AFC Championship & SB. While Ronnie and some of the new guys on Defense are leanring the pro game, it may as well be against the very best.

What doesn't kill you makes you stronger.

We just need to focus on one team at a time....everyone thought Denver would beat us and we killed the Donkeys. We just have to play smart, cut down on the penalties, and no turnovers....I think our D can keep us in most games,,,,just need a consistent running game to go with what has been a decent passing game. Even last year we were in most games with the exception of the Jets game when they killed us.

Our schedule is pretty tough, but have you seen the Patriots schedule? I looked at it and it really makes me feel better about ours. I know they are the champs and we're coming off a bad season, but damn, I think they'll be lucky to win the division this year.
