I just finished watching the Chargers - Bills game from a couple weeks ago. Man. I'm usually optimistic about games, but when that offense is firing on all cylinders it is a piece of work. They have like a real quarterback and everything! As I was watching and wondering whether we could beat them, all I could think was, "us and what secondary"!? I think we are going to get stretched, folded, spindled and mutilated. I just hope we play them hard and are still in the game in the 4th quarter. If we have a good offensive day and a great defensive day we will give them a run for their money and it will be a grand game to watch.

Do you think our D line will be able to get some pressure on their O-line?

Especially with Hudson Houck knowing their tendencies?

I really think that is a possibility. I can them getting some penetration with Hudson Houck passing some advice along since he knows that line. However, with the loss of a coach is the addition of a new coach, and the Line coach for San Diego probably changed up the tendency from what Hudson taught.

Oh well, if we get burned by a good SD O then there isn't much we can do. I say people need to take a chill pill now. I really don't want to come here Sunday night and read about all the players that suck on the fins roster, but I will. I just can't with for FA and the draft. I'm not giving up, just preparing for the worst.

I think we will get a good pass rush most of the time. I'm more worried about run defense than pass rushing, actually. We seem to either stuff them or give up long (7-12 yard) runs. Holding them to 2-3 yards consistently would be preferable.

A good pass rush isn't going to be enough...we're going to have to have those receivers covered as well. I hope we can do it but I am not optimistic.

You won't get any player crucifixions from me, feelthepain. But like everyone I would desperately love to see signs of established improvment, rather than hit-and-miss like we've seen earlier. Backtracking is awful. Here's hoping we play them like we played the Broncos, and not like we played the Browns! Well, we'd better not play like we played the Browns, because I don't think our scoreboard has three digits.

Nah. I disagree. Miami's front four will get pressure on Brees. He won't have the time to pick apart Miami's secondary. With LT banged up, they will probably find themselves in alot of 3rd and long situations. You can expect to see at leat two or three turnovers from the Chargers offense this week.

LT might have missed a few practices, but that wont keep him from playing or playing well.

the chargers are a very good team. and i would be very surprised if miami won.

It seems like Miami sometimes wins the games they're not supposed to win, and lose the one's we ARE supposed to win..Like, I kNOW we're not supposed to win this week, but I picture somehow MIami pulls an upset on the road against a good Chargers team, then turns around and loses to the stinking Jets at home or something like that.

Keith Traylor not playing is going to kill our hopes of shutting down their run game

It will be interesting to see how the Phins respond. I don't think we're *incapable* of winning it or, at least, giving them a decent game. Whether they show up to play and play hard throughout is the question in my mind. If they don't, it will be ugggggggggggggggly.

I agree we may have a long day Sunday, but I dont think many people are expecting us to go to SD and beat them. If we do it will be great, but I'm not going to get my hopes up. But thats why they play the games. Any given Sunday.

Manny might surprise us...

I'm just hoping for a good effort from the guy. He's not the immovable object that Traylor is but he may have some some moments in the game:)

The one thing we have going in our favor is the Chargers play the Colts next week. I doubt they will considering their playoff plight but maybe they'll look ahead
