I was laying in bed the other night, thinking about who are starters would be, but then I rememebered that Poole was coming back. So it made me think, whose gonna start on the other side of Travis Daniels?

Will Poole? Will Allen? or Goodman?

Allen will most likely start along with Daniels. Poole's injury set him back, but he will have a chance to get the starting job. Ultimatley though, Allen will start the year.

SOmeone posted that madison said poole was going to be great b/c of how he progressed for this last year that he missed before his injury and how he was going to be veyr dominating. correct me if im wrong? dont say he has the potential but im talking literally been said.

Poole will be in the nickel Howards old spot, til he get's back to form, which is okay he may be more effective there anyway.

Im starting to feel more and more comfortable about our depth at CB.

Allen
Daniels
Poole
Goodman
E. Jackson
Mitchell

Nice balance of speed (Allen, Goodman, Mitchell) and toughness (Daniels, Poole, Jackson).

Yes- Madison did say this.

Yeah, plus we may draft a CB to. We should be fine!

I think we're looking at Allen and Poole with Goodman playing nickel. I think Daniels will be CB depth or will play at S.

He might have said that. Don't get me wrong, I am a HUGE supporter of Poole and I would love to see him come in a claim the starting job, but I think for at least this season that Allen will be the starter.

I do think that Daniels and Poole can be Saban's version of Madison and Surtain.

I think Daniels has a better chance playing Nickel than Goodman. And, IMO, Daniels wont be playing safety- that will be occupied by Renaldo Hill and either a draft pick or Tillman/Bell.

Are you serious? why would he play safety? We got Renaldo and Yeremiah and Tillman. How do you see him starting anywhere else but corner?

I didn't say he would *start* at safety -- I said he might play there. I don't see Daniels starting unless he wins a job at S, though. That projection assumes that Poole is going to be back where he was before he got hurt. If that isn't the case, I think Daniels would start at CB.

I have to agree that, IMO, Daniels and Allen will start with probably Poole taking the nickel spot depending how well he has recovered. I'm really excited about the secondary actually. With DB coaching being Nick's Croix De Guerre, I think he can whip Allen into shape to overcome the shortcomings he had with the Giants. Also, Saban spent a huge amount of time scouting DB's at the draft scouting combine so I think we'll pick up another one in the mid to late rounds of the draft. Just my opinion though.
