this is a real difficult question for me.we had so many flops so many promsing rookies.my list is as follows
1 Fiedler
although not a great player by any means he was a winner.even with Wanstash as coach
2 Pennington
if he was here longer he may have really helped us
3 Tannenhill
he has so much talent but is frustrating as well.so many bad throws and sacks
4 Moore
really thought he was the man until we drafted RT at #8
5 did we really have a #5?Trent Green i guess

I stopped reading at Fiedler. Fins won because of their D and in spite Fiedler, not because of him.

Kind of like the last 15 years? We actually won many games because of Fiedler and that D never showed up when it counted but I don't want to debate that here. Not trying to hurt feelings but bottom line for me since 2008 Chad Pennington was the best most efficient QB we had and Matt Moore led the most explosive offense we've seen in a long time over the last 9 games in 2011. In all other times since then we've been a struggling hard to watch offense that has a good day when it reaches the league average in points scored. Looks like that will continue in 2014.

#5 would be like Gus Frerotte, Trent Green didn't play much and didn't win much. At least Gus almost got to the playoffs....

Not like this is saying much (or really anything) but I'd probably put Gus Frerotte over Trent Green.

^^haha, you beat me to it.

#1......John Beck. Or maybe Pat White.

Actually Harrington was my least favorite. Talk about a QB who couldn't throw a deep ball.

I would say Fielder because he knew how to manage the game he won 36 games and lost 23. But I always wondered how for Gus Frerotte would have done with another season, toward the end of 2005 he performed really well. The chemistry with him and Chambers was awesome, then we brought in Culpepper.

We haven't have any top 5 since Dan left. A better question would be who are the bottom 5

Thought it was a big mistake not re-signing him for insurance. Much better option than Joey Harrington.

Fiedler is very underrated by dolphin fans who were spoiled by watching Marino for all those years. No, Jay wasn't great but he was a good QB. Marino couldn't win w/ those Ds which really were very overrated.

Chad P is the best QB of the bunch but he only played 1 year so I would rank him 2nd behind Fiedler and I have no clue who would be 3rd- is anyone worthy?

I would go:

1. Chad Pennington - Too bad his shoulder was held together by dental floss and bubble gum though. Then again, if it wasn't, he probably would have finished his career as a Jet.

2. Jay Fiedler

3. Matt Moore

4. Gus Frerotte

5. Does it really matter because they all pretty much sucked.

I didn't include Tannehill since his Dolphins career is not yet completed. He has all he tools to be #1 on this list, but time will tell and the jury is still out.
