Our Weakest Areas...

Cornerback... without question.

It isn't even close.
Yep. Don’t agree with the OP on the dline. Weaver has always preferred a quantity over quality approach with his dline and I think we will be pretty good there along with Chop, Phillips and Chubb.

Miami needs non midgets as receivers. Preferably sure handed and won’t drop passes as frequently as the current group.
The best team in that category was the Eagles, with 19 fewer dropped balls. The worst was Cleveland with 14 more than the Dolphins. Bills had 5 fewer. Fins were more or less middle of the pack in that stat.

There are things like salary cap, 31 other teams, etc. that keep teams from having All Pro at every position and as backups.

Starts at the top.
Management
Tua and his health.
A great coach and qb can mask deficiencies elsewhere .
I'm all fir letting the young guys play.
Looking forward to the season and how Paul and Chop play

I think we should had the context of when and where the drops were. I may be misremembering, but Tyreek and the rest dropped some pretty crucial passes.

I don’t understand why people think dline/pass rush are such a problem. We were decent there last year and get Chubb/Phillips back, Chop has another year of experience and we added a first round pick at defensive tackle. Cornerback I get the concern but people acting like we have the worst dline/pass rush in the NFL makes no sense to me.

When Ramsey is officially gone we will have an entire secondary of backup quality players. So unless several players step up and start playing at much higher levels than they ever have, it will likely be the weakest unit. I've seen some Phin fans say they aren't too worried because the defense did well despite disappointing safety play and Ramsey's declining skills. But even though Ramsey isn't the player he used to be, and even though Holland disappointed and wasn't worth his asking price, they are still much better than what we have replaced them with on the field.

The d-line will likely be worse than last year too but we still have Sieler, and hopefully Grant's floor is enough mitigate the loss of Campbell, while his ceiling could result in an improved unit.

The o-line is the wildcard. It could be a vastly improved unit, or it could be a disaster and ends up as the weakest unit again. Jackson and Daniels are both serviceable players but they are coming off season ending injuries. Will they be less than 100% this year? Will they get hurt again? Savaiinaea has potential as a high 2nd round rookie, but he could turn out to be a bust or a slow developing player. And then Paul has potential as a 2nd round sophmore with good tools/upside, but his limited play last year did not inspire much confidence.
