Thanks for pointing that out....in a couple other threads before creating this one.

I was about to post this the other day. By comparison, 5 Saints caught TD's the other day, 3 being WR's. We have a pathetic stable of receivers here. Thanks trifecta!

The Saints threw more deep passes in that game than we have all season...

I just looked it up and I am stunned. I really can't believe it.

Our rookie has TWO TDs to our three veterans ONE!!!!!
Worst WRs in the league by freaking far!!!!!

how can anyone be shocked by this? do you watch the games?

our RBs have accounted for 19 TDs and we generally target our TEs in the redzone (4 TDs)...

we aren't an explosive offense, meaning we end up in the redzone goal to go, and as a running team we pound it in (at least we should, as long as Henning doesn't braincrap and let Ricky throw any more passes)...

and i blame this more on Henning than on our WRs... hes so conservative with the passing game, but gets all crazy wackado with the running game/Wildcat... he needs to devote some of that time he comes up with this crazy **** to adding some complexity and looking for mismatches in the passing game...

though i do agree we have a crap WR core... but still it could look better if Henning was any kind of real coordinator

Aren't we a run first team? Wouldn't you think that a team that has success running the football would normally go for their bread and butter, meaning the run, to score?

Logic fails most of you.

Yep, we're all clueless....we are a run first team that has run all the way to 5-6....

My worry is we bring in a #1 wide receiver and we continue with Henning's run first to hell with the pass philosophy. We need NEW blood
and a new philosophy when it comes to our coaching.

Logic tells me the most dominate teams in the NFL right now are passing the ball all over field and stretching the defense multiple times a game. Hell the Vikings have the best running back in football and yet they are throwing the ball every where and running the ball.

Logic says the only way this team gets to the next level is bringing receivers that get open and stretch the field. Watching over head angles of our receivers running routes is pathetic at best!
