i know CC,DB,MB but who else will make the roster and have a decent year
the rookie from marshel looks good on paper wher does derrius thomas fit in this year also how many WR will we carry

What about Ronald Bellamy, I was wondering how he
is progressing and if he might get into the mix?

Derrius Thompson will be our #4 guy at WR and guys like Bryan Gilmore, Josh Davis, Kendell Kewson and Ronald Bellamy will compete for the last WR spot. Wes Welker will likely just be our Returner, so he won't count as a WR.

he may not have a chance to get in the mix, if we go wiht a 6 WR in our depth chart then it will most likely be,

1st-Chambers-possible pro bowler

2nd/3rd-Booker-proven starter

3rd/2nd-Boston-proven starter fomer pro boweler and looking to go back to it

4th-Thompson- scored 4 TD's last season and has started for us before

5th-Gilmore - Scored 2 TD's with us, has great speed and eventually would fit nice in the 3rd WR spot, but not in this line up

6th(ST)-Welker- excellent special teams player, most likely will not see any playing time at WR unless things go wrong or he improves, but is an important asset to our team

so you can deff. see that our line-up this season is very good at WR, bellamy probably would just miss being in this mix

Being that I highly doubt we will keep more than 5 wr's that's not good news for bellamy or davis who I'm personally pulling for the make the team....

yeah, i would like to see them make the team, but i like gilmore even more, i have a feeling at least one of them will be on the practice squad

Practice squad is the way to go in this instance, because either Boston or Thompson may not be here in '06....

yes it is, another option is to draft a decent WR in the 2nd or 3rd round of next years draft, or depending how we do we could go first round though i doubt we'll need to do that because we wont finish that high

gilmore did not impress me one bit last year not sure of his 40 time but i do not remember him scaring any cb's .how about davis as a 5 wr

:shakeno:, he started for us and came through at really bad times, he is starting to prve himself and could be very useful next season when thompson and boston may not be here

In my mind we only have two solid WRs CC and Booker.Thompson is fair depth. The rest are unproven or suspect.Hopefully one of them rises above the crowd.

I think the Boston thing will be crutial. Boston has to get thru training camp and pre season. If he breaks down its all up in the air. Maybe the same as last season regarding the WR lineup.

i agree, and i feel that boston will turn to his old status and gilmore is starting to rise above the crowd

See my sig, that's who I think will make it.
