What many of us thought was to be the strength is turning out to be a weakness. We have no "goto guy", its hard to tell what what were gonna get from Chamber's..yes he makes awesome grabs but we NEED consistency! Booker has shown litttle heart as of late that drop was mind boggling ( I make that catch in my flag league all say long!)..and his effort on the endzone INT was sad..Boston has been hampered by that knee and has done nothing!!! These guys are playing very average as a unit. We need a No.1 WR bottom line. We have 3 guys on this team that many of us feel CAN be no. 1's but NONE are playing like it.:shakeno:

Yeah average Wr's who were burning the bills secondary, if you look at the stats you wouldn't know but if you watch teh game, you could see, this is more of gus and the one part of the o-line than the Wr's, Chambers was getting wide open agsint this good bills secondary but missed opportunitues

Boston has been hampered by his poor attitude. I don't buy this knee excuse at all. He's not getting the rock, and he's pouting. Same old DB...

As to Chambers and Booker, I think the problem is at the other end of the pass more than it is on their end. Gus is the latest in a long line of mediocre post-Marino QBs, and we're seeing the same sort of performance. It doesn't help that there are a ton of people out there seeking catches -- that makes it tough for any one person to stand out. At this point, Gus is most comfortable with his short target, so McMichael is the guy who stands out.

Don't get me wrong -- Gus is the best this team has. It's just too bad there isn't a better solution that would give the team a more credible passing attack.

Then you may need to request a name change DBoston, since you feel that way.

There are and have been plays wher all 3 have been open and been a victim of a poor throw..but I rarely see them being "Complete" wr's out there...

Elite WR's in this league go to the ball and make plays....BYROAN said it best just check out my new sig!

yeah, but Chambers did come back to them, it's just they they were nearly impossible to get, the first one especailly where Gus was his, it was like punt with the hang time, byt the time it was even reachable, five bills players were there, how the hell does Chambers get that, and what does getting in front of these guys do if the ball is still 20 , afeet in teh air, it has to be reachable, by the time it was even reachable bills players were all over that are of the field, Chambers tried getting the last one but was a split second too late, even if he tried to break it up it would've have been a slim chance, he tried to comeback and catch it, which was really close, but now I guess it's chambers fault, but really it's not, no WR in this league is "Super man" even TO probably thinks he is, that's what chambers would have to have been to have come up with some of the Huge lobbed underthows that Gus threw.

Some people need to get a clue, hows that for a quote.

Mod Edit: Be civil in your criticisms - argue your point without namecalling.

What's this drop by Booker I keep hearing about?

I think it might just be somebody with an ax to grind against Booker pretending that he's alone in the league as a receiver who drops passes on occasion. That person may have forgotten that he gained the most yards for this team of any receiver today.

Agree with you!

I thought Chambers could have been more aggressive with some of the balls that were thrown his way. Of course Boston didn't show up. Booker is about the best thing we've got right now - pretty dependable and tough.

Chambers chances of getting the ball were very slim, he did put in the effort, but he was in a very bad position to getting the ball, ht e balls were thrwon 15 yards behind, that's like 5% percent chance of Cahmbers getting the ball especially withe first int, whcih has all the bills players there, I don't know how you get that ball when that happens

Sems like Gus held the ball too long on both those interceptions. The receivers were open but by the time he threw it they were covered.

as a previous poster said. we had recievers running open all game long. gus started to click ont hat ;ast drive to, that was a beautiful lofted throw to welker on the final drive, o actually had the feeling we were gonna score and win
