Out of the HC candidates, who could build the best staff?

Philbin brought pretty bad crew with him, no one really established.

I'd like MacDermott, Shula, or Hue Jackson right now. Payton only considered without compensation. If it's Shula or Jackson I'd like Jim Schwartz as DC.
Besides themselves the new HC has to bring a real staff, like not appointing a QB coach who happens to be the son in law of the OC who happened to be.. I won't continue.

I want the new coach to bring a legit staff. Who can that be?
 
Schwartz will probably try to get one of the HC jobs....and I don't have Shula high on my list....

Payton would obviously be able to put together a decent staff but really not sure that's ever going to come to fruition so I guess that leaves Hue..not sure what connections he could pull together.

I 100 percent agree with the concern though we need real coaches this time around.
 
Marrone could bring Schwartz if he doesn't land a HC job.

Jackson might be able to get Cable on staff in some capacity.

Mike Shannahan could get his son Kyle on staff.

Not really sure aside from that.

I would be on board with Mike Shanahan if he brought his son, hell I would be on board with his son.
I used to hate Kyle but when you look at his body of work, he has been a success in a variety of places and could build a helluva staff himself.
 
That Buffalo coach last year, I forget his name, seem to be very successful in turning teams around. I think he can bring Schwartz back on board.
 
I think this is actually the most important quality of whoever the next HC is. It has been painful and embarrassing to see how BAD and unqualified the staff that Phillbin put together.
 
Is John Harbaugh completely off the table? If not, I believe he could assemble a very respectable staff.
 
The ability to attract a staff, specifically the OC & DC is as critical as the Head Coach hiring itself. Having deep NFL ties is critical. I think Jackson, Marrone, Haley and Shanahan all provide that.
 
Why did Marrone leave buffalo? He did an ok job with them in 2 seasons then opted out at the end of 14 to be a O line coordinator... Why?
