Miami Dolphins defensive lineman Jared Odrick prepared for Sunday's game at mile-high Denver with a hunting trip to Utah.

Odrick and a friend shot coyote and hiked last weekend in the mountains near Randolph, which is at 6,300 feet — higher than Denver.
"I've played in altitude before," Odrick said. "It can be different if you want it to be. It's just another thing to overcome."
Odrick's mini-vacation was possible because the Dolphins had last weekend off following a Thursday night win over the Bills.

Man Odrick is by far the most interesting player on the team.

Why would you shoot a coyote? ****ed up.

Because they are varmits which can destroy local deer, elk and upland bird populations. Not to mention sometimes eating local ranchers cattle. Try not to criticize something you know nothing about.

Not to mention killing family pets....and they are usually in packs.

A friend of mine was nearly attacked by a lone coyote as she was walking her dog at dusk in Broomfield, CO. Needless to say, the lil varmint didn't make it. :shotgun:

In most states coyote are bad enough you can kill them on sight, open season. Pest that is actually dangerous.

Sounds like Odrick and Csonka need to start hanging out......maybe even do a hunting/fishing/outdoor show in the off season.
Oh and on the coyote topic, yep, they are considered a pest here in North FL too. I seen them wandering parking lots in the middle of town.
