Yeah, Lee took for ever to turn and look for the pass. On a play like that he has to turn his head the very instant he makes his cut. He was kind of looking down field until he heard the crowd screaming and realized there was a pick. He did not look good on that play. That being said, AJ did throw the ball a bit behind him. He probably could have caught it if he had turned though.Awsi Dooger said:I'm rooting for Lee but I don't think he helped himself last night. True, he looked back a little late on that INT play and perhaps should have adjusted the route due to pressure. But Feeley was throwing so quickly and scattergun it's difficult to assess what the play was supposed to look like via competent quarterbacking.
I didn't understand the TE utilization at all. Lee didn't get many thrown his way and I don't think Owens took the field. Then Sage spent an entire quarter zeroing in on Alex Holmes.
I seem to remember Marino hitting Clayton with that same pass right in front of Albert Lewis to beat the Chiefs in the 1990 playoffs. Just matters who`s throwing that type of pass is all...a young Marino could get away with it, an old Marino and/or AJ Feeley can`t.adamprez2003 said:it is a high risk pass that really doesnt have that much upside.
