Crowder has everything that takes to be a good middle linebacker. He has great instincts and good speed. His athleticism is tremendous. He is a team leader. He is also a tough player. He also has some weakness. He had knee problems. He suffered a injury last year as well he blew out his knee in high school. He tore an ACL. His knee problems could hurt him in the future. He also has legal problems. He is going to be a great player for years to come. If he matures trough the season he could be a key player for the Miami Dolphins. He is young and has his career ahead of him. Crowder, 21 will adapt to the NFL lifestyle. Crowder had many memorial games including making 15 tackles against Vanderbilt. He ended his College Career with 179 tackles and four sacks. Crowder won a Defensive Captain Award. An Interesting fact on Crowder is that his father Randy Crowder was drafted by Miami Dolphins in the sixth round of the 1974 draft. Overall I think Crowder will become a star in Miami. He is built for the roll. Which many rookies need to work extra to get built for the NFL atmosphere. He has came over many obstacles. He seems to be in tremendous shape. We will see what the NFL and the Miami Dolphins have in store for him. I wish him the best of luck for this 2005 season. Its going to be an interesting season of the Miami Dolphins.

he definetley could be a steal...... i love that he also makes for a great OLB while Zack holds the fort down.

Is that the plan for sure. I would love to see him compete for an OLB spot while Zach is roaming the middle. Of course assuming that we stay 4-3 for now.

I kind of see Crowder taking JR's spot after this year; provided of course he pans out.

i just hope his knees hold up because this guy is another player. here in gainesville, he was known for going out chasing down wild boars as a past time.!!!

Are you serious?

If his knees hold up, then he will be a pro bowler. Hes a terrific player, great intensity and instincts, and a real good athlete. He will be playing a good deal this year, and could be starting as soon as next year IMO.
