How many starts does John Beck make before he is benched?

I'll set the over/under at 5.5

JCane is taking the UNDER here.

We all know that Beck is TERRIBLE but how long will Shanahan put up with it before he's forced to put McNabb back in to save his job?
 
Under... and it aint even close. I doubt he even makes it out of the offseason as the starter. I think Shanahan is feeding the media a bunch of bull****. They'll sign some veteran who will easily beat out Beck.
 
:lol: Just heard on SportsCenter that Rex Grossman believes he is the starter and so does Mcnabb.

Rex Grossman is pretty bad.... but I'm confident that he can beat out John Beck. And if Mcnabb returns I see no way he doesn't start over those clowns.

Over. I'm betting he plays all 16 games unless injured. Shanahan is going hardcore Suck for Luck mode. No other explanation for not doing a single thing to address the QB situation last draft. I don't think his job is in danger at all either. I wouldn't be surprised if Snyder signed off on one bad year in order to get his own Tom Brady/Peyton Manning level QB...
 
I think he'll play on and off all season. He'll suck balls, and they'll take a QB high next year in the draft.
 
First of all, that is way too high for an over/under... i would've set it at 3-4 games. With that said, under. It sucks that we aren't the only ones interested in Luck.
 
i say he will play all 16 games unless he gets hurt from the awful line they have protecting him, but i still think he out shines Robo Henne with less talent around him. I still think we made the mistake not keeping him and letting him compete Beck is the next Dree Brees imop.
