WOW, we got our ***** handed to us. Boldin and Fitzgerald were way to much for our secondary to handle and our offense looked SLOW compared to Arizona's defense. The most disheartening thing to me was the fact that every time Boldin lined up in the slot one of 3 things occured.
1. We had a LB on him
2. We had a safety that picked him up 10-15 yards down the field.
3. Nobody covered him.
Is our coaching staff soft? Can somebody who knows more about football than I do explain to me why for the past 3 years it seems like our opponents can dictate ridiculous matchups to us but we can never do it to them?
We were tough against the run but because the Cards could get whatever matchup they wanted on us the pass was a given. I hate to admit going to the rookie QB may be a must unless Penney can back off the defenses.
