One of the few things I want to bring up is our future which will be Ronnie and Allen. I for once I'm a believe of brown because he is a great runner. He just needs to be coached more. People thought OJ Simpson was a bust until he was used right and then bacame to be one of the best players of all time. Ronnie Brown needs time for this franchise to get back in their feet and start forming a better team. I personally think that Brown needs to drop some of the weight he has gained so he can use it for better speed. Ever since he's started to increase weight I have notice some speed loss.


Allen is fine guys, he's just starting to bond with the team right now and if we train him right then he will blossom into a wonderful player.

This franchise needs to start planning our future drafts. We desperately need to draft a franchise corner out there and release shelton and all those player who don't contribute. Saban also needs to keep his lineman in tact so he can build them as a group. I think Vernon Carey will be fine for years to come as our right tackle. Leave James in the line as our left guard and sign a left tackle. Hadnot is fine as our center so we need to really replace left tackle and right guard as our main priority.
 
What about LB. That is our biggest need on the team. Well at least in my opinion.
 
bring in someone in the 2nd or 3rd round to hold the door open for Spragan to leave...
 
If we are in position to draft Quinn, we trade down. If we are a little lower... Calvin Johnson WR Georgia Tech. Johnson immediately becomes the #1 receiver with Chambers a #2, as he should be.

crowder is our future at LB.he played great today when i was watching(in the first half)

We arent going to the super bowl with Daunte, Joey, or cleo. Daunte is done, he cant read a defense and cant make good decisions. Joey is just crap, and cleo is a nice clipboard holder, but not our future starter.
QB IS the most important position on the field and its time we brought in our own guy. Where did we get Dan the Man? As a washup or scrub from another team? No, from the draft. Quinn for QB!
 
IMO, a QB can be mediocre and win the SB, i dont see anything in Quinn that makes me believe he is amazing...and i think he'd have a huge chance of being a Ryan Leaf. Look at Baltimore in the 2000 or 2001 SB, they had the "Best" defense in the NFL and won with a mediocre QB....its all about who is left standing on your team (injury wise) during the Playoffs to go to the Super Bowl. To get to the playoffs, well....you need to win.
 
1st = OT Joe Thomas Wisc
2nd = SS Zbikowksi ND
3rd = OG Studdard Texas or Jake Long Mich (does he fall this far?)
4th = LB Vince Hall VTech
5th = C Mozes WV or Beekman BC
6th= LB Nate Harris Louisville or T. Charles BCC (both fall w/ char issues)
7th= CB Aaron Ross Texas or Glenn Sharpe Mia (knees)

We will NOT draft a QB in the 1st round of the draft. We need to draft a left tackle who will be there for the next 10 years. Then, we need to draft some freakin' defense.
