and that will never happen.

the NFLPA has no ground to stand on in this one.... the Eagles have T.O. under contract, they can do with him whatever they want. The only thing the NFLPA can do is prevent the Eagles from suspending him for more than 4 games, which would require him being deactivated for the remainder if he were to not play the rest of the season....

he would still be paid though, but as we have said he just won't play. the NFLPA is just being itself and trying to stir crap up.... they fight for the "injustices done to players"... lol, yeah, like this is a huge injustice.

yeah.

i would LOVE it if they would keep him signed and on the EAgles next year, but deactivated him all year.... take a year away from his career. that might be worth the 5 mil he is to get paid next year, isn't it?

one thing no money can buy is time... so steal that from his punk ***.

Philadelphia will not release Owens this season....he'll rot out the remainder of the season because the NFLPA will not win their grievence hearing. The Eagles have to pay Owens if they cut him anyway, so they might as well just keep him in the orginization off the field. The off-season is another story however, i certainly could see him being a big play guy in San Diego (who could use a WR)

The point of what Philly is going to do to Owens is to punish him for the rest of the season. They are not going to cut him now and let him resign and win a SB with someone else.

Also, I wouldnt be suprised if Philly at LEAST tried to trade him at the end of the season to get some compensation for him. He still is under contract.

However Philly doesnt have much leverage.... I believe he is due a roster bonus of 5 million in March.

He will be cut in the offseason, not now.

I like the chargers taking him they would an awesome team but TO is TO so If it was my team I wouldnt be sure
