Owners could vote to remove Stephen Ross depending outcome of league investigation

I still find it impossible to believe that a bunch of people from the billionaire boys club vote to remove someone from their own club on the word of someone that the rest of the league has / will ostracise because of his actions.

It's far more likely that they hit Ross by way of punishing the team to show they've taken action.

The league punishing Dolphins fans and McDaniel by removing draft picks would be double jeopardy - we already have an owner who cannot build a successful team and at points actively wants to lose. But I fear that's the exact course this will take.

Habeas corpus! (Ha, not to sure it’s in the NFL bylaws)

Flo has proven he is nothing but a little bitch in this entire fiasco. Can’t take anything he says serious anymore. He either lied then or is lying now because the “circumstances” have changed. I can’t trust that no matter what.

Double Jeopardy means you can't be tried and convicted of the same crime twice...

Doesn't mean you can't be punished twice as severe...

With every action Flores takes, he's destroying his career and his case by painting a bigger picture of his actual motives... This one takes the cake.

He should file against every team in the league at this point, because no team is ever going to hire him as a head coach.

Once Flo told me he'd give me $100k if I flowed him. But I can't prove a damn thing.

He's getting bad legal advice, IMO. Of course, that also depends on what his objective really is.

I mean, it’s silly to be reporting this now. The real story is, in fact, whether or not Ross actually paid Flores (or attempted to pay Flores), to throw games. That’s not been shown to be true in any way aside from allegations made by the plaintiff in this action.

Let me tell you all how this plays out. Assuming there is an case and Flores has ground to stand on (frankly with him adding teams to the lawsuit it is not helping his case and screams of egomaniac) this plays out like this:

Goodell meets with Ross. Ross says "hey I have a deal in place to sell this team anyway and I'm 81 years old, let Bruce take over the chair position and ownership and I'll step aside".

Deal is struck and all goes away.
