Here is the story on the case:

A federal judge handed NFL players a key ruling Tuesday in their fight to strip the league of $4 billion in TV revenue they contend was unfairly and illegally secured as a way to survive a lockout that could begin by the end of the week. U.S. District Judge David Doty backed the NFL Players Association in its closely watched fight over the so-called "war chest" of broadcast revenue that the union contends is leverage the NFL is wielding against it in the labor fight.

The NFL's current collective bargaining agreement expires at midnight Eastern time Thursday night.

I'll shoot myself....god I couldn't live without football

Put it here.... We lock out for 2 years then I will quit watching NFL and stick to college football. I have no time for greedy rich people

i think it means that they have planned for more than 2 years to have this possible lockout. not sure it means they want to have a 2 year lockout.

I am having a hard time dealing with the fact that free agency didn't start on Friday, I definitely can't handle no football for two years.

They really need to come to an agreement this upcoming week.

I'm firmly on the owners side of this issue. Not the players!

I completely understand where the owners are coming from.

As for the players, they are pricing themselves out of a job!!!!!!!

And before anyone says yea, but they get hurt. The players know the risks involved, just like any other dangerous jobs people choose.

How much money would they lose by not having the NFL for two years? It's unimaginable that they'd go that long without having their league 'exist'
