Well now he has a int under his belt. This is a good experience for him and he will take it as a learning one. I think that Rodgers can be a good QB for the Packers if they give him time to grow.
rodgers looked like a rookie out there, but he actually showed some ability there, too. i liked that one play where he rolled out and threw a DART to the sideline. GOD why would anyone wnat alex smith
After he's finished dropping back & his primary receiver isn't open he gets happy feet. Not a good quarter, 2 fumbles (though both times neither blitzer was blocked & came from the blind side) & an interception.
rodgers made some nice plays, and some bad ones. it's hard to really judge a QB here though in that situation. it's basically just like judging a QB in preseason. and he won't start this year so we'll have to wait for that
he showed more hope in that 1 quarter than Smith has all year. Granted he made some mistakes, but he showed flashes of being a good QB. I have yet to see Alex Smith make a good pass. did you see that pick he threw to Jacksonville? The ball had more hangtime than a punt and was fluttering
Rodgers was going against the third string D in prevent. He coulda looked a little better, no? Alex Smith looks SO bad though. He can't even hold on to the ball.
there's really no reason not to adopt the flex shedule for monday night/sunday night. it'd help the ratings tremendously and get the NFL more money. there's gotta be another reason why they haven't done that yet
