How can you all sit there and say "um not anymore Henne is doing good" Come on!!
Carson Palmer is a huge upgrade!! The franchise QB!! How do you know Henne is gonna do great this year? why take the chance!!!!

Carson knows how to hit recievers in stride time after time! He is how the Bengals got good after sucking all those years! he made ever Bengal receiver look good!

Imagine him here throwing to Brandon Marshall!! AND HE IS THE LONG TERM ANSWER! Long term is 4 or more years and hes only 31! HEs a pro bowl QB and you have nothing to loose bringing him here to learn Dabolls system while hot rod henne looks goofy out there with his retarded helmet!

You think Palmer can get the playbook down before the Patriots? We guarantee ourselves a loss if we bring him in now. Yes, he's better than Henne and it's not even close, but Henne is more prepared. Palmer isn't prepared for any team right now, he's got some work to do. If Palmer gets released after the season and Henne is average, and we're not in reach of any of the Top QB's, then sure, bring in Palmer, he will have a full offseason with our team.
 
what are you talking about!! Who said for him to play week 1? and like Henne will beat the Pats anyways if your talking preperation no team in the AFC or possibly the NFL is more prepared the the Brady bunch!

So your saying just let Carson test the market and be free to be picked up like how Vick, moss has? Carson Palmer would play week 4 and if not for sure after the bye, Oct 17 Sunday night at Jets!

You just admitted Carson has way more talent then Henne, you saying Carson cant catch on to Dabolls playbook in 2 weeks? when Henne did?

NTY, even if he was cut wouldn't want him coming in. Henne is starting to play well and don't need him looking over his shoulder like he was doing with CP
 
I'd give the Bungels a 3rd in a second for Palmer. Sit him learn the playbook get any treatments for knee or elbow and be ready to play if/after Henne stinks up the joints.

If Henne plays well then Palmer is just a 3rd round backup; else hes the man.
 
Most thought he would do this..I think he shows up and they call his bluff..Make him the starter.
 
Tough, tough call. I'd have been all over this like a cheap suit up until now. It seems like feast or famine Henne has the fans and team behind him at this time. Still, history tells us we may get the same Chad Henne we've always gotten. How much does bringing in Palmer screw with the psyche of the team?

I take it you have watched a lot of Bungle football the last couple of years? Sic. Because if you did you would see a Qb that is broken... unable to do some of the things you talk about. His confidence is shattered, courtesy of the Bungle way. You think he's an upgrade over Henne? Why have 31 other teams passed on trading for him? You think it is all Brown? I don't. I think most people see a guy that needs to sit for a year or two and rebuild his persona ( if it can even be done!)on the football field. If they release him maybe then we talk. Just my 2 cent worth on this subject.

Great to see the that Henne has stopped all the haters up with his play. That's the single best thing about this whole thread.

That being said I wonder if Brown has fulfilled every end of his agreement with his players. Has he ever agreed to a contract with someone and then let them go before it was completed? I honestly don't know that for a fact but I am sure he does all the time. I really don't care where Palmer goes, if its here then great.....I just would love to see him make of fool of that idiot owner!!
 
Way too late in the game now for him to make a difference for us, but I sure hope he screws him over. Brown is about to look like an idiot...
