Palmer to Return?

He should srew them over like they screwed him over

i agree 100% why you ask ? ok look at ocho stink oh mr brown had him under contract and he wanted out of cincy and brown gave him his wish . palmer wanted out and he stright up told him noooo a player shouls honor the contract well mr brown you just might get your wish NOW plamer is ready to come bk (lmmfao) and you should honor him and as they say on espn . PAY THE MAN !!!!!!!!!! LMAO

I take it you have watched a lot of Bungle football the last couple of years? Sic. Because if you did you would see a Qb that is broken... unable to do some of the things you talk about. His confidence is shattered, courtesy of the Bungle way. You think he's an upgrade over Henne? Why have 31 other teams passed on trading for him? You think it is all Brown? I don't. I think most people see a guy that needs to sit for a year or two and rebuild his persona ( if it can even be done!)on the football field. If they release him maybe then we talk. Just my 2 cent worth on this subject.

WELL all 31 teams didnt pass on trading for him he never was out there for trade why nobody else even said anything was because brown said that palmer wasnt for trade thats why nobody else bit but rest assure if he gets released there WILL be plenty of teams come a calling palmer might have had a few games where he was off but palmer is a franchise QB and imo i WOULD bring him in for insurance just incase Henne did start shooting duds and falls apart i would offer a 3rd if he dose come bk and they want rid of him or whatever imo wheather we need him or not i would do a 3rd all day long for palmer plain and simple.......

Great to see the that Henne has stopped all the haters up with his play. That's the single best thing about this whole thread.

That being said I wonder if Brown has fulfilled every end of his agreement with his players. Has he ever agreed to a contract with someone and then let them go before it was completed? I honestly don't know that for a fact but I am sure he does all the time. I really don't care where Palmer goes, if its here then great.....I just would love to see him make of fool of that idiot owner!!

come on dude right before your own eyes ocho was still under contract he wanted out and brown gave him his wish.....

So say you give up that 2nd rounder which next year keeps you from moving up in the draft for that rookie QB that you desire! IMO that missing 2nd rounder in this years draft cost us in the Ryann Mallett sweepstakes just as a reminder. Also how much shelf life does Palmer have IYO?

how in the world did it make us miss out on ryan mallett ? he went in the 3rd round we had mor than one chance to get him and didnt......

My post had nothing to do with whether to take Palmer or not,so dont lump me in with "all of you" !
I personally like Palmer, and thought he would have been the best of the rest mentioned at the start of the season to "Compete" with Henne for the starters job at the time, but that time has passed for the start of the year.

I have always said it has not all been Hennes faultfrom the beginning with a terrible offensive line the last few years, not enough good players around him,and an offensive coordinator that wasnt very good.

I said Henne deserves this year to either prove himself,or not,and thats what I still say. If he doesnt,I have no problems moving on,but I think Henne is already showing vast improvement already with better players around him,and if the o-line does improve, and I do think it will,at least somewhat,I think Henne will have a good year.

One thing you fail to note is Palmers decline since his injury, and although I do believe Carson can once again be a very good QB,as I said,I actually wanted to bring him in to compete at the start of the season, and push Henne, I dont want to bring him in and just hand him the job if Henne proves with better talent he can do the job and get it done. Henne has a great, strong arm,and is young and has many years left to be a great franchise QB if he turns that corner this year.If not, thenmaybe bring in Palmer next year, but no matter what,we need to find a QB in the draft next year with great potential for the future,if Henne doesnt get it done.

imo if palmer comes bk and they decide to trade him he wont last till next year some team will pounce so fast it will make our heads swim as i have said if they decide to trade him grab him for a 3rd and let him sit behind Henne and if Henne starts to lay eggs let palmer be learning the playbook while Henne is starting and by 3 weeks if Henne is still playing great then let Palmer sit and help him grow But if not we will have a legit bk up that we can bring in and compete......

100 words in that debacle of a sentence. hemingway doesn't need people showing him up like that.

I'm not sure how well the players on the team will receive him though. He pretty much left them all out to dry, said he wanted a trade, misses all of training camp and preseason and then he's just going to show up to get paid? Don't think I'd be onboard with that if I played for the Bengals.

I'm sure the players understand that it's a business first and foremost. The Bengals owner is a hypocrite when he asks that Palmer "honor" his contract when his team has no issues not honoring contracts when it benefits them(i.e. when they cut players). So now Palmer is coming back to honor his contract, what's the big deal? It was well played by Palmer.

No thanks to Palmer. He has shown himself to be a bit of an a@@. What's to stop him from refusing to play if he became unhappy in Miami after a season or two?

At this stage of the season you don't trade for Palmer.
