The Panthers' list is not as kind, as seven names make their week three list. Running back Stephen Davis(Neck), Cornerback Ken Lucas(Shoulder), Saftey Mike Minter(Calf) and Linebacker Will Witherspoon are all listed as questionable.

Defensive Tackle Brentson Buckner(Knee), Defensive Tackle Jordan Carstens(Ankle) and Linebacker Dan Morgan are listed as probable

It looks like they still cant shake the injury bug and something tells me that the abscence of their questionable players might give us an advantage, not having Lucas,& Minter will help out our passing game and a hurt Witherspoon, Morgan and Buckner should aid the running game even if Morgan and Buckner do play they wont be at 100% and that should help out the O line as well.

Dont think that because Davis is hurt for the 100th time means that we will shut out the running game, Foster is pretty damn good, he will be a good starter in the NFL one day.

It will be a CLOSE Game....count on it...

The Panthers are strong in the area`s we are not...close game hard fought all day...

there are several days until the game, i expect all those guys to play since they arent listed as doubtful.

every team gets banged up of course we have already lost 2 starters for the year on D.

sorry when i said we i meant the Panthers

the panthers lost SS Colin Branch in the preseason and Kris Jenkins in game one.

The Colin Branch injury isnt that bad though because we picked up 2 veteran Safeties during the offseason and drafted T. Davis who can play safety. One is Marlon McCree who took over the SS position from the rookie last week and he played really well.

S. Davis isnt injury pleagued he was out last year but thats about it, he is a RB they get dinged up all the time. He will play on Sunday, they might not give him the ball 25 times again just to change things up and keep him fresh this season he is 31 years old, and like u said Foster is a pretty darn good back.

I would gameplan for ALL to play. If they do though, you know they won't be 100% which could mean that in the humidity, they might have to step out on a few plays. If this is the case, we need to hit them in their backups, or at least test them.

Panthers | Minter Expects to Play Week 3

David Newton, of The State, reports Carolina Panthers FS Mike Minter (calf) did some light running in practice Wednesday, Sept. 21, and expects to be in full pads Thursday, Sept. 22. Minter expects to be ready for the Week 3 game.

Davis and Minter will play

Lucas and Spoon still havent practiced, them not playing is becoming more of a concern. Spoon seems less likely then Lucas right now.

Today in Charlotte it is 92 degrees with only 60% humidity. not much humidity in late September but in the summer its pretty darn bad
here is a quote from Dan Morgan who played for the Miami Hurricanes

He said a burner during training camp at Wofford College is comparable to what the Panthers will likely endure Sunday.

The forecast for the Miami area this weekend is for temperatures in the high 80s with a chance of thunderstorms, and humidity around 70 percent. "I've got to give it to Spartanburg, it's no slouch, "

witherspoon is a big loss. They already have a problem controlling TE and he already has 3 Passes defended. With Mcmike being the only person doing anything on offense this could be a determining factor in the game.

alot of big injuries on the defense speicaly on the d line if buckner isnt going to be there

actually we controlled the Pats TEs really well. We struggled against the Saints TE. Our Rookie T. Davis was suppose to take care of him but he didnt, he got pulled from the game and McCree went in, since then we have performed fine against the TE. i also think them using the TE so much took us off guard a little bit.

Buckner is playing, he is probable. have u guys ever looked at injury reports before games? the pats had a butt load of guys on there injury report and pretty much all of them played. its like that every week.

Not ours. :D We have one player from our active roster on there. Secondly, you guys didn't control N.E.'s tight ends. Brady couldn't hit them for some reason and left wide open Ben Watson without a ball. Plus, I think he dropped a few when he did get the ball inhis vicinity.

I don't expect much from our offense, but I expect Randy McMichael to have a good day.
