better yet do you have a weather report. i would like to see the field temperature around 120 again. :)
Early weather report:

High: 89°F

30% chance of Isolated T-Storms with Maximum Humidity at 78%. UV index is at 10 on a scale from 1-10. Wear sunscreen.

Not suprising given their win over the pats and our loss. I'd think it would be higher, but whoever said it will probably go up is right.

I didn't notice this betting odds thread until a minute ago. I posted this in another thread but since it's more relevant here I'll paste what I wrote:

Next week will be a significant test for the new defense. Delhomme is in his prime and dating to last season the Panthers have scored 20 or more points 12 straight games. Many of those numbers were well into the 30s. I got into an argument today at our offices with the chief oddsmakers because the line and total for next week's game doesn't give Carolina's offense enough credit. At -3.5 and 37.5 that estimates Carolina 20.5 and Miami 17. When you are only alloting 20.5 points to a team that persistently demonstrates that is the rock bottom of its output, that makes very little sense to me. It's something my friends and I have taken advantage of over the years, winning bets simply via asking a team to score or allow a number far within reach given their longterm tendencies. I think Caroilina should be pegged closer to 24. The oddsmakers said they agree with me but since the public isn't betting Carolina to score high points they won't make adjustments until that happens.

The Pats O-Line couldn't stop the Panthers defense...Brady was running for his life...Now imagine our O-line v.s this Panthers front....

Same here. I have hope that since it's a bye week for the Redskins, they'll show the Panthers game. I have a feeling we'll get stuck with Falcons/Bills, though -- stupid freaking Hokie fans hero worshiping Vick.

This will be our worst game of the year. There is not a better team in the nfc than a healthy panthers team (where's tanya harding and her knee bashing boyfriend?). The good news is that after this game we can settle down and play teams more in the line of the jets and broncos with which we can compete

Without a healthy Kris Jenkins, we can run on this team. Also Ricky Manning vs David Boston is a win for us. I like our chances and it is the only game this year I will get to see in person, so I hope there is some crazy weather system that comes through that makes it 125 and muggy as crap on the field, but 75 and breezy in section 112 seat 24.
