Wayne and Parcells of all people should know what happened when Nick Saban was flapping in the wind about his move. They owe the fans to make a definitive statement about Parcells staying or going. I know Wayne said something about his staying but doubt still lingers. We need to see the Tunas fat mug in front of a camera telling us he's not leaving................ BP doesn't give a rats *** if your worried he's gonna leave, he also doesn't owe you anything. I don't see him having a special media event to squash any rumors either, the media are the ones starting this nonsense so why would he feed them anything.

The only reason he ever did interviews before is because he had to, in his position now he doesn't so you won't see it happen.

Bill doesn't owe us, we need to thank him even if he leaves. His contract is very specific (wierd too). If the hands off owner Wayne sells the team, he can leave (no Jerry again). Also, Wayne is a business man, the team is worth more as AFC Champs than 1-15. I think they both were very aware of the possible sale (do to contract). But if Bill leaves, I believe he would ensure that someone is recommended for the job (not Bill Cowher). Also we have Jeff, he knows players.

The point I'm trying to make is, dont believe everything you hear. What actually comforts me is that Porter came out and said Bill had told him he was staying. He'd be more willing to lie to the media than to his players. I think that one should be good enough. Leave Bill alone. Let him do his job.

I think Bill is staying put, I read a quote not long ago where Ross said that he thought bill was great and hopes he will stay aboard.

That clause in his contract is there because he knew Wayne was selling the team. IMO, the clause is there because if Parcells didn't like the new owner he could walk and take the money with him. After dealing with Jerry Jones I can understand why he wanted that clause in his contract.
